Hot Rod’s Diner is authentically decorated as a 50s era diner. Walking in takes you back to an era of fun and casual dining. I selected a strawberry topped chicken salad while my family had smash burgers. The food and service were excellent, but only got better with our to-go milkshakes! I will come again and highly recommend this really cool place!

Customer service was great. Ms Kat took great care of me. Overall the food was good. Just prefer a traditional hot dog but. Bread was thicker than I preferred but I would like to try other dishes. Will definitely be back soon.

This place was hopping on a Friday evening! Every table was full and the place was lively. We had phenomenal service-drinks were always filled and our waitress was so attentive and sweet. The food was good. We got wings, patty melt, cheeseburger and this massive super hunker down dawg, which was honestly the biggest hot dog I have ever seen! We tried a lot of side dishes and they were all fresh. The highlight of this meal was the peach cobbler! It was the BEST peach cobbler EVER. I don’t write a review and say something is the absolutely best but I promise you this one is, try this cobbler y’all!

It has been a tradition for my wife and I to eat here every October and this was the first time coming since change of ownership. It just wasn’t the same. The place wasn’t busy but it took a long time for service to get to us to order. My wife’s cheeseburger with added chili was lukewarm and we didn’t get the cheese on the cheeseburger. It wasn’t very flavorful to either of us. My hunker down dog had onions that tasted like they were left out too long or were getting old. It left a terrible taste that overcame the rest of the toppings on the hunker down dog. Our meals may not have been that great but the peach cobbler with ice cream was still amazing!!!!

Really good food and service! Chicken fried steak and green beans were awesome! Delicious jalepeno hush puppies! Peach cobbler was a good choice for dessert.

I have eaten at Hot Rods for years driving from Loganville. We moved to Social Circle six months ago and now have the delight of frequently eating there. We also take a group of ten of our friends often and everyone loves it! The food stayed the same with the new owner’s which makes us happy. I love the small town friendliness and just like “Cheers”, they know our name. I highly recommend Hot Rods and look forward to a long lasting relationship with them!

5/2/25: Back at Hot Rod’s Diner for some outstanding Southern cooking! My appetizer was creamy sweet onion soup! Then I had a hamburger steak with grilled onions and then collard greens with the famous Texas Pete pepper sauce, and black eyed peas and green beans and cornbread! Everything was simply outstanding! Even the server spoke southern! And there’s a boot scraper, too!
10/2024: This is a fun place to eat and hang out. Everything is excellent! My appetizer was chili cheese tater tots. I had country steak with collard greens, green beans, house-made slaw and cornbread. Very tasty! Lots of neat old signs on the walls. Banana split for dessert was yummy!

Me and my boyfriend’s favorite date night spot.
Always great service!
Their country fried steak and their peach cobbler is to die for.
It’s very reasonable price wise and has a cute old time diner feel.
My only simi negative thing is that it’s kind of hard to find.

This place was packed! This was my 1st time and the place made you feel like you were in the good ol’ days. The music they played was oldies but goodies. And such a wonderful variety of food. The waitresses were so pleasant. Food was awesome.
