That said, the overall experience feels average these days. Service is fine but unremarkable, and the food is decent without really standing out. A noticeable detail is that arugula salad seems to come with almost everything, and unfortunately, it’s not the best version of it.
The desserts remain the highlight and are still very good—arguably the main reason to come here. However, it feels like some of the small details that once made this place truly memorable have been lost over time.
For a first visit or a date, it can still work well thanks to the ambiance. But after multiple visits over the years, the little shortcomings become more noticeable, and the experience doesn’t feel quite the same anymore.
Cake Bake is truly a hidden gem — a luxury bakery and restaurant that feels like stepping into an elegant dream. The moment you walk inside, you’re transported to what feels like a real-life anime café straight out of “Maid Sama” — refined, enchanting, and full of charm. The atmosphere is a perfect blend of Parisian elegance and whimsical fantasy, with every corner beautifully curated down to the finest detail.
The staff are dressed impeccably, their presentation and warmth making you feel as if you’ve entered a private world of grace and hospitality. Each dessert looks like a piece of art, and the flavors are just as extraordinary — rich, delicate, and unforgettable.
From the glittering chandeliers to the pastel tones and floral touches, Cake Bake is more than a restaurant; it’s an experience of luxury, nostalgia, and imagination. It’s the kind of place you almost don’t want to tell anyone about — because it feels like a beautiful secret meant only for those lucky enough to discover it.
We went at Christmas and the place was decked out in Crystal and flocking and polar bears and sleighs! If you want the complete package make a reservation and go! (We tried going for dinner the night before but there was a private Santa party)
Not only did we eat a piece of cake there but we each bright one home to share with our families. All I can say is go! Get pampered for a couple hours …you won’t be disappointed
Our server, Mr. Donavan is a 5-star class all to himself. He worked hard to take care of a table of four women that wanted each to taste several things on the menu, and we often try to do that. He is personable, well-mannered and efficient. Thank you, Mr. Donavan for helping to make our experience a 5-star experience.
The creme rules latte my wife got was wonderful. I loved the walnut brownie warmed up with ice cream.
Must visit place
We loved our experience!
Everyone was so kind. A huge shout out to our waitress, Missy. She was so peppy and kind. We loved her!
We got the pick two soup and salad. The tomato soup was full of flavor and we loved our sandwiches. It was more than enough to fill us but we got dessert anyway.
I got the chocolate pumpkin and it was amazing. Even the leftovers stayed just as delicious. My sister got a macaroon and truffle. She enjoyed them, although saved part of the truffle because it was so rich.
10/10 Recommend!!
