I’ve been coming here off and on for quite a few years. The food is always good but what deters me from coming more often (hence spending more money with this restaurant) is the wait time. Took 20 minutes to be served 1 plate of jerk chicken and rice. Other than that the food is good and the lady that actually served my food was very pleasant. Good size portion of food for a large size plate ($20).

The flavors, wonderful! That’s all I have to say about the food, flavorful, colorful, and exceptional. The prices aren’t too bad, and the portions given can fill someone up. I ordered the jerk chicken with the rice and peas, cabbage, and some curry goat. Absolutely amazing! I also recommend their patty’s. They have a little bit of crunch on them, while soft on the inside. I’ve been going here for a little bit, and it never disappoints!

My partner ordered me food from here and I was just too excited because it’s my first time. I saw the food and tasted just a bit at a time.
Well I can say I am fairly disappointed as the Mac n cheese was a portion for a 3 yr and the noodles was tasteless with butter or oil slapped on top of the cheese. The jerk chicken was dry and I had Brice and peas with curry goat. The sauce was actually good but my rice had no taste.
I don’t think I would personally order from here after my first experience.

Food was good but here’s my concern… none of the workers wore gloves, cashier also serving food, and a “convenience fee” added for an order I stood in line for.

I use to live close to the silver star location years ago. The food was very authentic and seasoned well. The customer service was friendly and they cared about the taste and quality of the food. But today, my visit was far less than what I expected!! I know the area has grown and the workers that were once there have moved on. And along with that, so has the quality and taste of the food! I had an express stew chicken with beans and rice. The rice was just beans washed from a can and cooked with rice. No seasoning at all!! The chicken let’s just say browning and pepper with some veggies(carrots) was the flavor. I could say more but I think this was enough to show that something has changed. Perhaps ownership and cooks

Came by there tonight and I orderedA large oxtail and my husband ordered a large brown stew chicken. I sent him in the restaurant to pay and grab the order. A few of the oxtails were tough and they are small in size but the gravy was good my husband enjoyed his brown stew. Overall not bad. However later as I scanned my receipt into Fetch I noticed that they overcharged us and my husband didn’t notice. They added an extra small oxtail when we didn’t order one. Not sure if this was done on purpose but we’re out $20 bucks and the restaurant is almost an hour away from our hotel.

6years ago: I like the food its good, but the majority of the times I’ve come here I’ve encountered ladies that work there with the funkiest attitudes, if they dont want to deal with customers they should work in a forest or warehouse.

I don’t know what’s going on ever there maybe they’ve gotten a different cook or something if so they need to call the old cook back and beg because the rice was dry and flavorless I asked for oxtail gravy on the rice but even that couldn’t save it, the gravy was so weird all tasted was garlic and sugar. The oxtail were so sweet for some reason the gravy was sweet and the oxtail was more sweet that savory. On DoorDash they only give you rice and meat For $19 by the time you add a salad $6 or veggies $6 you’ve paid well over $26 for a plate of mostly bones and unrendered fat. The last couple of times I’ve been disappointed, but I tried again giving them the benefit of the doubt and I should’ve followed my first mind to pick something else, they won’t get me again I’m not ever ordering from them again especially after this last time

Food is cooked daily. I love the curry chicken and the curry goat. While it can take about 10 minutes from door to service, the food is worth the short wait. They have a few locations, so if your in the area, don’t miss out.
