The food wasn’t that much up to the mark. We ordered chicken tikka masala, paneer kulcha, butter naan, crispy chilli baby corn and cold drinks.
The chicken tikka masala was good. Paneer kulcha wasn’t good at all. It was only panner and the quantity of the paneer was very low. Butter naan was good. The crispy chilli baby corn’s quantity was not at all good. They took 280 for one plate and the quantity was so low as you can see in the photo. It wasn’t that much good experience.

A Timeless Gem with Exceptional Value
I recently visited Sunflower Restaurant for lunch, an establishment that has been a local staple for decades. I was thoroughly impressed to see that despite its long history, the restaurant remains remarkably well-maintained, preserving its classic old charm.
To our surprise, both the quantity and quality of the food were outstanding. It is rare to find a place that balances tradition with such high standards so consistently. It is truly worth a visit.

Went there with my brother, we ordered a hyderabad biryani, Kadai chicken, chicken tandoori, and Lassi, everything was tasty, except two pieces of the tandoori, its too much smoked. Rest are really tasty, the ambience is also quite good. Prices are not to high.

If you never had mughlai paratha then you might like it, but if you’re had it before you’ll realise that you made a mistake going to this place. 175 for mutton mughlai paratha, they didn’t use keema, hardly one eggs, wasn’t mixed properly, full of onion and perhaps 3 small pieces of mutton inside. Also wasn’t fried well enough inside.

The restaurant offers a pleasant ambiance, making it an excellent choice for family outings. While parking can be a challenge during the daytime, it becomes much easier in the evening. The food is both delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

Just amazing! I think it’s a gem in Guwahati (not sure hidden or not, as I am not a localite ). The food and the vibe is great. I would recommend you to try North Indian and Indian-Chinese cuisine. It’s a small and old place. Won’t look appealing as you enter. However, the food is delicious . In my almost one year of stay in Guwahati, I found this to be the best place to eat outside. We ordered Chicken Lollipop, Butter Chicken and Naan. All the dishes were fabulous!

For quick food, it’s a good place.
We had chicken Chopsuey, quantity wise it was quite a lot, quality could be better.
Their recommendations included chicken mughlai paratha, chicken tikka roll. Couldn’t have these as Choupsey was enough for 2 persons.
