I really like the burgers here. I would go with a single patty as the double was quite sizeable. Also, it was cooked to well done which i would suggest medium or less. Ordered the Savage and it was very tasty with the bacon, cheese and over medium fried egg. The yolk was still liquidy and added a nice creaminess to the burger. The potatoe bun held up nicely to the meat and accoutrements.

This place is no-frills and modestly furnished. The staff was pleasant though a bit aloof. Kitchen though was busy and prepared food to order.

If you’re looking for a spot in Chicago that delivers flavor, size, and consistency, Burger Point absolutely deserves a visit. From the moment you walk in, there’s a relaxed and welcoming vibe that makes it clear this is a place built around comfort food done right. The menu has plenty to choose from, but a few items stand out as must-tries.

The 16 oz burger is the star of the show. It’s massive, juicy, and cooked to perfection—everything you’d expect from a burger that size but rarely get in reality. The seasoning is bold without being overwhelming, and the toppings are fresh, complementing the meat rather than competing with it. Each bite feels indulgent, yet balanced enough that you actually want to finish the whole thing.

The chicken sandwich is another highlight. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired with just the right amount of sauce and crunch, it’s one of those sandwiches that hits every note. It’s not just “good for a chicken sandwich”—it’s the kind you’d go back for again and again.

And then there are the wings. Flavor-packed, with the perfect balance of crispiness and sauciness, they’re a crowd-pleaser whether you’re there with friends or flying solo. They’ve got that addictive quality where you think you’ll stop at a couple, but suddenly you’re polishing off the basket.

Altogether, Burger Point delivers exactly what you want in a neighborhood spot: hearty food, generous portions, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel at home. It’s the kind of place where every dish tastes like it was made with care. If you’re in Chicago and craving comfort food with big flavor, Burger Point is absolutely worth the stop.

Mike was amazing he was kind and took the time to tell us about his burgers and was looking forward to making sure we were happy. I had the American classic GLUTEN FREE my husband had a number 17. Delicious courteous and an all around great experience for both taste buds and time.

Thanks again Mike for making something special and a cool conversation!

I came and ordered the saigon jonny chicken burger and fries. The sandwich had a little kick and the fries were crispy and seasoned right. I had to ask for napkins twice but it was no big deal. The place is casual and kind of quiet which I liked. Nothing really stood out but it was a decent meal. I could see myself coming back on a lazy weekend.

Not going to lie, I’m devastated this place is closing It’s become a tradition for anniversaries and birthdays in my family. I’ve been going here since 2011 when I worked close by. I live by Ohare but the drive is absolutely worth it. I usually get The Best Veggie Burger Ever. I have had A LOT of veggie burgers in my life and this is BY FAR the BEST. It lives up to its name. Honestly, I’m so sad I will never be able to taste that amazing burger again. Maybe, if we all go there this week we can save the business! it really is one of the best places ever. Not just the food, but the service as well. Such friendly people and a friendly owner! This place will be sorely missed. I’m actually tearing up writing this review. Thank you Burger Point for all the amazing memories and the best food I’ve ever known

Called in my order on Saturday, 6/1 at around 12:30pm. The lady who answered the phone was pleasant. There were no parks in front of this location. I had to park in the yellow to wait for my food. My son went in to pick up. He mentioned that it’s small on the inside, about 4 tables.

We ordered The Classic and The Dirty South medium well with a large fry with sea salt. The fries were enough for the both of us. They were piping hot and freshly cut. The Classic burger was really good. It was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. My only complaint is that the lettuce was brown and wilted. I couldn’t tell if they put it on the burger that way or if it came from the steam of being in the bag for the 20 min ride home. It was very slimy, and I hated it. Pics attached. The Dirty South burger was great, too. Cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The pretzel bun was different. Not my favorite choice for a burger. On a potato bun, I’d like it more.

All in all, I’d def go back. The burgers are solid and no complaints about the service. The price was on the higher end, but the quality matched. I spent $29.10.

This place is great. Pictured here is “the crunch” ordered medium well and “the burger point double” in medium well.
The wait time is about 10 minutes because they cook it as you order it.
The taste of the burger is amazing and juicy.
They will typically have a sports game on at the same time if you plan to eat indoors.
Quiet space too.
A small sized order of fries is enough for 2 people.
Good small date place with your significant other

I wished I lived in Chicago because this would be a frequented spot! The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE! There are plenty of options to choose from, and the two we ended up with were seriously some of the best burgers we’ve ever had. Quality meat and ingredients! We also got a large order of chili cheese fries. The chili was seriously so flavorful, along with the cheese. The portion was definitely large – could have gotten the smaller order. The staff was very welcoming, kind, and accommodating as well! We felt at ease in their space and genuinely welcomed. I would 1000% recommend this place to someone looking for a gem in downtown. We ate here then walked to Soldier Field for a soccer game. We hope to be back sooner rather than later!

Great comfort food with great price. Service was excellent!

No wonder this place was so highly rated. The food was great! I ordered some chicken wings for takeout and they were delicious. I would definitely try their signature burgers next time if I’m near the neighborhood.

The cashier was an old guy in his 50s who is super friendly and kind! I have been to quite a few restaurants all over the world and who would have thought the best service I have received was at this burger joint in a suburb of Chicago! It’s the unexpected well intended small gesture that usually makes a long last impression on someone. To whoever behind the counter today, you represented Chicago well and to that I say “thank you Sir!”
