I found this café yesterday after taking a different route home from work, and it really caught my eye. The outside is charming, and once you walk in, the decor is beautiful — warm wood, leather seating, and a cozy, modern atmosphere that feels a bit luxurious.

It was my first time there, so it took me a moment to look over the menu. The young lady at the counter seemed a bit rushed, but she was polite. I ordered a matcha latte, which was smooth, delicious, and at the perfect temperature, exactly how I asked for it. I also got a biscuit with egg, bacon, and cheese, and the flavor was wonderful.

The only thing that disappointed me was the presentation. My biscuit was handed to me wrapped in plastic film, without a plate. Because it was hot, the cheese melted and stuck to the plastic. I wasn’t sure if they didn’t have plates or if it was just a mistake, especially since other reviews show their food served nicely on plates. It felt a little odd and took away from what could have been an amazing experience.

Overall, it’s a beautiful spot with great food and a lovely atmosphere. I truly enjoyed the drink and the space, but I hope the presentation improves — because this place has the potential to be one of the best cafés in Okemah.

Definitely worth the two minutes detour off of the freeway! I always like finding great independent coffee shops. Keep your money in your community. But they also make a great cup of coffee, and if you want to sit and enjoy, there is plenty of room do so.

This was such a lovely little find on this rainy morning! The chai latte was delicious, the space was very open and comfortable, and the restrooms were so clean! If you’re traveling through, it’s definitely worth a stop. I wish we could’ve sat on the little patio!

The coffee is great and the two women at the register were really friendly. The space is also really cool and comfy to hang out in and relax.

The best place to stop for coffee and lunch along interstate 40. They source their coffee from the best coffee roaster, and the food is fresh and made in-house. Try the London Fog tea with the creamy foam and not too sweet. For breakfast, go for the brisket burrito with homemade pico. The biscuit sandwiches are soft and fluffy. Sip your tea and read a book in their numerous oversized chairs.
Nothing beats a high-quality locally owned business.

Absolutely blown away by our experience here! Stopped in for coffee on our way to East Oklahoma after seeing a billboard on I-40. Heather, the owner, has a heart for revitalizing Okemah and has many projects underway to help support her mission. The place is absolutely gorgeous, and lots of care has been taken to make sure all renovations maintain the historic integrity of the building. She was so fun to talk to and even let me see behind the scenes of her newest project!

If you are local to Okemah, just driving through, or anything in between, The Mosaic Grind coffee is absolutely worth the stop!

This a hidden gem! Perfect setting for a coffee house, lots of space, comfortable chairs, some by bookshelves. Will definitely come back next time I’m passing through.

Spent a quiet night in this town in eastern Oklahoma and woke up to find this unique coffee shop in down town. The atmosphere is definitely cozy and the people are friendly. The owner told us of her plans to finish a common room and four rooms to complete the Inn setting. Looking forward to seeing that completed. Please stop by on your way through on I-40. You’ll be glad you did.

If you’re tired of gas station and hotel coffee while driving on the interstate, stop here for some real coffee and pastries. They have a lot of comfortable seating inside and it was really well decorated for the holidays.
