One of our favorite places to get fish. I’m going to miss going here with my dad as this was our favorite place to go together for fish on any given day as I’d travel from Appleton to Fremont to spend time with my dad & get a great meal of fish that unfortunately I don’t think I have ever really gotten in the fox cities. There’s a few places in the fox cities that come close to having great fish meals yet, I believe it’s better in Fremont at this particular restaurant is great. My dad passed away in a tragic car accident in March 2025 so I am going to miss our regular special meals & time together & eventually I hopefully will go back in remembrance of him once in awhile yet, until then this is the best place for fish in my opinion that we shared.

Great stop on my drive for work. Friendly atmosphere. Gretchen was behind the bar and welcomed everyone from regulars to strangers with a friendly hello. I had the chipotle chicken special and it was fabulous! And I’m normally not a chicken fan. Would definitely stop back anytime I’m through Fremont.

We camped in the area for a couple of weeks and ended up eating at the Bridge Bar and Restaurant three times. It was that good, and the menu is huge. Every single thing we ate was delicious and the service is spectacular. The bonus on Wednesday evening was the ski show on the river. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to eat good food.

Love the outdoor patio right on the water. Their food is really good. They had a live band on Saturday afternoon that attracted a crowd. It’s nice that boats can dock right at the restaurant. It is slow no wake in front of the restaurant so it is relaxing watching the boats go by. The buffalo tacos were awesome that were a special. My friends got burgers which they demolished. The fries and pub chips were great. My favorite was the jalapeno cheese curds…I will be returning for those little pieces of heaven for sure.

Depending who is bartending makes it even better, a great place regardless. You can rely on it being open all night when everything is closed earlier! Never ate the food, I hear positive comments tho.

Fantastic food, atmosphere and wait service!
Memorial Day weekend the start of the summer and Bridge Bar was ready for all the action. The place was packed and they were all over it. Huge portions and amazing appetizers filled every one of us up and some stuff to go. Excellent for our whole family from 1 to 65 years old. We all had a blast! Live music topped of the festivities. We are so going back again soon.

It’s a bar. The service was okay. The two younger woman working there don’t look around very often when they are taking with friends at the bar. So you’ll have to call for them if you want service. Drinks are also poured pretty slow. Food was good. Had the pot stickers and sweet potato fries. Pot stickers are not spicey. The sauce is a little spicy. Supposedly they have bands here and it can get a little rowdy. It’s right on the river which is nice to look at in sunset. If definitely go again.

After I took my grandkids to Sunday school in Appleton, they wanted to go to Taco Bell. I looked up the review and it got 2.7 stars and I’m not a fan of Taco Bell in the first place so I decided to just try my luck on the way home which is 90 miles.
I found the Bridge Bar and Restaurant. Usually I wouldn’t stop at a bar with my three granddaughters two are. 6 and one is 8 because they’re pretty antsy.
I called ahead and they said they had a kid menu so we went there. Everybody was super nice and didn’t mind my annoying granddaughters. Luckily they’re all cute.
They menu has different kids meals, all reasonably priced, and my granddaughter’s actually ate most of the food, which is rare.
The french fries were delicious and plentiful. I had a cheeseburger and stole some of their fries.
I won’t hesitate to stop here again on my way home.

Food is great, kitchen staff is great, some of the servers won’t serve you if you’re alone (Brittany) because you probably won’t tip well. They (Brittany) also stared me dead in the eyes while eating after I told her I haven’t gotten a menu. After waiting, someone from the kitchen took my order, love that guy.

Location and atmosphere was top notch. Our server was very nice and kept us hydrated. fish baskets were good. The fried sweet taters, not so much. Too thinly sliced and fried too hard. Couldnt eat them and still got charged. That was NOT cool! Nice plaCe, though
