Here’s our insider tip: **aim for Sunday if you can.** While we love the energy of a busy Friday night, Sunday afternoons or evenings are pure magic at Ye Ole Fashioned. It’s noticeably **quieter and way more relaxed**. You can actually take your time peering into all those flavor cases without feeling rushed, snag a table super easily, and the staff (who are always friendly, even when slammed) have a bit more time for a chat. Don’t get us wrong, it’s popular for good reason and can get hopping other nights, but that Sunday calm? It turns a great ice cream run into a genuinely peaceful little outing. Perfect prices for the quality and portion sizes too. It’s just the best way to end the weekend – highly recommend making it *your* Sunday tradition!

Service was great, and I loved the atmosphere. They have great signage telling you where everything is. They have a good selection of ice cream, which you can make into a shake. I had the jolted cow ice cream as a shake. It was absolutely amazing and would rate it a 12/10. It had brownie bits in it with a coffee base. I was able to get it through the straw, but just in case they give you a spoon.

I usually go to the one on Rvers avenue in North Charleston but we decided to stop at the one on Saint James avenue in Goose Creek. I must say I was really impressed with its size and cleanliness. It had a nice vibe but yet it was still family friendly. The employees were great. They were fast and efficient. I even had one come up to us and welcome us to the restaurant, I’ve never had that done before, not to mention the banana split that we had was fantastic. it was literally the best banana split I ever had and I’m up there…lol it was too much to eat in one sitting, so I brought it home and put it in the freezer. I never dine in. I’m glad I did. I had a good time.

I went in today for the first time in years. Extremely clean.They have the cutest children’s play room and arcade area!
This place is a favorite for locals. I come to this location often For the salads and milkshakes. My guy loves the burgers. Food is cooked and fresh. Be prepared to wait. The staff is pleasant and fast.
Very kid friendly. Lots of families come here. Good for groups. Inside area is always clean.
Shares a parking lot with a few other businesses. Not a lot of parking but I’ve never had a problem getting a space. There is also parking in the back. There a few accessible spaces right up front.
Has a fast efficient drive thru. No outdoor seating. Not dog friendly.
Right on St James. One of the main roads in the Creek. East to get to.
#Ttip: not just an ice cream place. Take a picture with the duck out front for a cool memory

Good afternoon! I went to ye ole fashion in Goose Creek order two large salads with turkey and ham and added grilled chicken on chicken came home and one of my order didn’t have the grilled chicken that I paid for mind I live in Moncks Corner, called back to the store to let them know that I didn’t received what I paid for , one of the employees said I would have to come back with the salad or wait until the next day to bring it back to have it replaced! No apology their concern was getting the salad back . I explained that I live in Moncks Corner and all they could say that they do the same for people that live in Saint Stephen!!! That is poor customer service!!! I’ve worked in Restaurants Business over 24 years and I know this is not how customers should be treated!!! They didn’t even asked what can they do to keep me as a customer!!! Imagine me telling my Experience that I had there to 10 other, that doesn’t look or sound good!!!

Great atmosphere and enviorment for kids, I didn’t have cash or change so my children could play the games inside so I went to the counter to try and charge my card a dollar or 2 so I can get quarters for the games and unfortunately they do not do cash back, but Coryell looked out and gave us quarters so the kids could play! Definitely recommend for those in goose creek to go enjoy food, great service and games!

I have been sick all day and had not eaten anything so when I finally felt better, I decided to order a BLT. I had it delivered by DoorDash and I did not get a BLT. I just got a bacon sandwich with no lettuce or tomato. Luckily, I had lettuce and tomato and added it to my sandwich, but if I hadn’t, that would’ve really sucked. So whoever is making the sandwiches, please be more careful and when you’re making a BLT remember to add the L & T.

The food is always on point . The service is really good for them to be very young. It’s rare to find good service from those that are younger. Only one advice always spot clean after your orders. Always keep a person on the floor to keep trash dumped tables clean. You want to always make sure that the atmosphere is suitable for those who are sitting and waiting. Have someone always once every hour wipe the door handles and windows off. And keep the temperature cool so it will minimize sickness in the air. Other than that keep up the good work.

They have an excellent Chef’s Salad with the works. I often pick up when I am late getting home and have stopped at many many of their locations. This one had the least amount I have ever had in my togo box and NO crackers.
