Fantastic Find: Great Coffee, Food, and Vibe!
We had such a wonderful visit here. The location is incredibly convenient, but the true standout is the overall quality. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is great—cozy yet lively. I highly recommend the pastries (freshly baked and delicious!) and the main food menu is just as good. Coupled with expertly made coffee, this place offers everything you need for a perfect morning or afternoon break. Five stars!

Staff was great but personally I feel it overpriced. I got the Margherita flatbread and spicy Prosciutto. Flavor was there but wish the dough would’ve been more crispy. Got a connoli which was enjoyable and a mini Nutella cup looking thing which was $4 and was not worth it. Cappucino was designed with a and tasted amazing. Lots of pastries on display that looked incredible. Maybe I’ll come back and try those

From the moment you walk into Rosetta Bakery, you can tell it’s more than just another café—it’s a vibrant New York stop that brings authentic Italian bakery vibes straight to the Upper West Side. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast before work, meeting a friend for coffee, or stopping by for a savory lunch, this place consistently delivers delicious food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.

First things first: the menu here is wonderfully varied. On the sweet side, the pastries are the real stars. Their pistachio croissant and pistachio donut are standouts that strike the perfect balance between buttery flakiness and rich flavor—ideal with a morning espresso or cappuccino. Fruit tarts, raspberry and pistachio combinations, and almond croissants round out a selection that feels both traditional and exciting.

But this bakery isn’t all sweets. Rosetta also serves hearty breakfast and lunch options that are genuinely satisfying. The egg dishes are fresh and flavorful, perfect fuel for a busy day. On the lunch side, the turkey and prosciutto sandwiches are generous and well-made, and their breakfast/lunch pizzas hit just the right savory notes when you want something a bit heartier.

The coffee program here deserves its own mention. The espresso and cappuccinos are expertly brewed—smooth but bold enough to stand up to a sweet pastry. It’s the kind of coffee that feels as good lingering over a table with a friend as it does in your hand while you’re walking out the door.

One of my favorite things about Rosetta is the atmosphere. Natural light fills the space, bouncing off clean white surfaces and making it feel airy and bright. The seating areas are comfortable and well-laid-out, giving you plenty of room whether you’re working on a laptop, enjoying a casual meal, or catching up with friends. Even during peak times, the vibe stays relaxed and pleasant.

The staff here are friendly and efficient. While it can get busy—especially during morning rushes and weekend afternoons—the team keeps things moving and is always happy to help with recommendations or questions about the menu.

If there’s one thing to note, it’s that some items can feel a bit pricey compared to your average bakery or café. But for the quality of the ingredients, the presentation of the food, and the overall experience, most visitors find it well worth the cost.

All in all, Rosetta Bakery is a gem in the city. Whether you live nearby or are just passing through, it’s worth stopping in for a coffee and pastry or a full meal. Warm, welcoming, and undeniably delicious—this bakery has quickly become one of my go-to spots in NYC. Highly recommended!

Rosetta Bakery is a wonderful place! It’s very clean, the staff are friendly, and there’s a wide variety of delicious sweets and sandwiches. The cappuccino was fantastic — they use Julius Meinl coffee, which adds a great touch. Prices are quite affordable — we paid about $30 for one cappuccino and three sweets, which is very reasonable for the area. I wish I could have stayed inside to enjoy it, but we had to head home since it was getting late. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m around Times Square!

A true European bakery! Everything was incredibly fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. It was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. From the pastries to the coffee, every detail reflects quality and authenticity.

The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. It truly feels like stepping into a small bakery somewhere in Europe. We would be so happy if Rosetta Bakery opened in our city as well — these amazing flavors deserve to reach more people!

The coffee is good which I appreciate because I normally drink brewed black coffee. I had the veggie focaccia/pizza and apple pie dessert and they were both really good. My friend had the prosciutto pizza and said it was good. *The portions are large so definitely shareable if you’re with someone.

They have lots of delicious looking options for pizzas and desserts so I’m sure I’ll circle back to try more.

The total for my veggie pizza, apple dessert and brewed coffee came in around $26.

The crowd is a bit touristy because of the location so keep this in mind, especially during the holiday season.

Rosetta is rooted in the Italian tradition of baking with natural ingredients. This is a great spot for coffee, sandwiches, and pizza. They also have delicious fruit tarts, parfaits, and pastries. It has a clean and high end vibe with great service and outdoor seating.

This bakery offers both pizza and pastries. Every time I’ve ordered pizza here, it’s been very fresh. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the pizza quality and freshness are good.
However, my experience with the pastries has been disappointing. I’ve tried croissants a few times, and they didn’t seem fresh. For the price, I would expect either fresher pastries or clearer communication if they’re not baked the same day.
Overall, I’d recommend this place for pizza, but not for pastries based on my experience.

Rosetta Bakery

Amazing place for “pizza, sandwiches, pastries, desserts, freshly squeezed orange juice” and the highlight of the menu, their coffees. Cappuccinos are second to none. One more time we stopped by for lunch at the 50th street location, we had a Round Focaccia Spinach Sandwich Turkey + Tomatoes + Mozzarella, a cappuccino, of course, and a, courtesy of the house, orange juice.

We had a little inconvenience with the Barista while she was preparing our coffee, the girl have an attitude, my wife asked for hot water for her tea before she started making our coffees however, and she was very rude asking my wife to wait. We spoke to a manager, she apologized and was very empathetic. I guess that’s why of the free juice.

Anyways, do not let that discourage you from visiting. They have amazing food, great atmosphere and terrific customer service.

As a person who loves trying all kinds of sweets, this bakery was delicious! I had the cannoli and fruit tart and I was extremely satisfied with what I ate. The prices were not too crazy either, honestly I was surprised considering it’s Manhattan. The aesthetic of the bakery is lively, bright, and I felt comfortable. The only opinion based critic I have is how loud it can be but it’s understandable considering how many people come around. I will definitely take some time to return and although I’m not a fan of loud noise, it was nothing unbearable and the delicious sweets make up for it! The staff are lovely and overall it was a great experience.
