I came in tonight thinking dinner would be somewhat fresh around 7 p.m. Boy was I wrong. The food was not only stale, but dried out. Very limited selection, and what was sitting out was obviously old. Check out the picture of the time marker. They all have the same marked time. The cook had nothing else better to do than watch the patrons skim over what they considered to be food. She occasionally would get up and stir the items around in the buffet. This supposed restaurant is falling apart. Most of the booths were ripped as well.

I was dragged in here by a fellow vegan who swore this was the one place they could get vegan mai fun. They were right about the mai fun dish being vegan (once we tasted it and we both had a reaction to something in it which I can bet was just cross contamination ) This is definitely not a place I would revisit. First big reason for me which I don’t count against them in my rating is the lack of vegan options. Posibly 9-10 options including the fruit.
The food was either salty or tasteless. The spring rolls were stale and fried plantains were old. The selection of food was mixed with mexican quesadillas and tacos and a few other mexican-ish dishes.
The atmosphere is interesting. Being that this buffet is located in a mexican shopping mall it makes some sence. The fusion is quite noticable as you walk in to Mexican cantina music and papel picado decor. ( Later music changed to a happier beat with some norteñas )
Moderately priced. We stopped by around 4 pm and it was pretty quiet. The staff was somewhat helpful when asking about ingredients.

The food was really good. However it was a Asian buffet but there was not one addition in the place. We were the only African Americans in the entire restaurant, so it was a bit unsettling.

Crawfish smelled god awful. It was definitely soured. Had no food that you wanted to eat. Shrimp was just mush. We drank the bottled corona we purchased left our food and left

Great selection. Food taste good. My problem is they put msg or another ingredient that causes severe stomach pain. I tried eating 3 times and had the same results. So yes it is something they put in the food.
