Stopped in at Maggie’s Tavern in Wayne, NJ on 10/11/2025 and had a great experience. Our server, Taylor, was amazing — friendly, attentive, and really represented the tavern at a high level. We ordered the Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos topped with mango salsa and the Maine Lobster Roll with lemon pepper–seasoned potato flats. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The sides — spiced curly fries, house-made coleslaw, and a pickle spear — were spot on and complemented the meal perfectly. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The food, service, and overall vibe made it a place worth coming back to.Highly recommend asking for Taylor — they made the experience outstanding!

I’ve passed this place a few times and finally had a chance to visit. It was during the day before dinner time so it was not packed when we arrived but as time passed the place quickly filled up. The service was fantastic! The hostess was prompt and professional, the waitress was knowledgeable and engaging, and the other servers were polite and helpful. All of the staff is incredibly attentive and willing to provide customers with an exceptional experience even if they are not the dedicated server. There are many good options (tacos, sandwiches, burgers, ribs, steaks, wings, the list goes on). Everything we ordered came out as requested and was delicious! They serve specialty cocktails so the list is not as extensive as many other places that tend to offer the regular lineup (with an occasional twist) but again they are specialty and they are very good. Then of course there are the draft beer options. The prices are great in my opinion and you certainly receive healthy serving sizes. The place is clean and spacious. While we visited during the day, I know we will be back at night because I have seen this place come alive when I pass by in the evening. They are open pretty late which is a plus if you are looking for a late night bite or a place to hang out and enjoy some drinks and food late. Wonderful vibe and atmosphere where everyone is welcome.

Had an amazing experience at Maggie’s yesterday. The food was fantastic and the restaurant is super spacious and really nice inside. It is in a great spot right off Wayne Hamburg Turnpike and parking was very easy.
We started with the spinach dip which was delicious. Then we had the ribs which were incredibly tender and full of flavor. We finished with the tartufo and it was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Everything we ordered was a solid 10 out of 10.
The attention to detail by our waiter Ryan was fantastic. The rest of the staff was also very attentive, always coming by to clear plates and check in. We really enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be coming back.

The wait staff were friendly and very accomdating. The lemonade was perfect not too sweet or tart. The gluten free chicken BLT was so tasty and cooked well. Great new place for dinner too!!!

The food was pretty good, and the service was excellent. I had the snowberry sangria, which was a refreshing winter take on sangria. The chocolate lava cake was a bit disappointing presentation-wise, as it had collapsed before being served, but it still tasted fine.

I’ve been here two times and honestly just not overly impressed. Very nice place, great atmosphere, the first time the service was very good, this time was just average, the woman was nice but didn’t speak the best English show was a little hard to understand her. The food is just average, neither of my times was I impressed, Especially with the price is being a little bit on the higher side. A Caesar salad with chicken, ribeye sandwich, and a beer and a grilled cheese was $80. The grilled cheese was very disappointing, and rather a little gross. I don’t think they made any attempt to melt the cheese.

Our server was very attentive and friendly but the Blackened Mahi Tacos were definitely not blackened and some pieces were quite hard and over cooked. The portion sizes of the fish per taco was very small and the mango salsa could use some work. We still enjoyed our meal and the prices were fair.

The ChowNow service they use for online ordering is terrible. HOWEVER, the staff were wonderful and helped us rectify everything. They were kind, quick, and gracious. If you choose take-out call Maggie’s directly. Do not use the online ordering service.

been here twice close to home wont be going there a 3rd time. couple times food wasnt good. chewy steak and chicken sandwiches not great quality. guests didnt like the french onion soup. they made a good cheese steak to be fair. apps are good and drinks. but just not thrilled to ever go back.
