Upscale taco restaurant with a beautiful environment. It is no wonder this place was so packed when I visited. Personally, I don’t recommend coming here for authentic Mexican food due to the prices and portion sizes. Nothing was inedible but simply not special, with the exception of 1 dish. If you are very hungry, you are better off trying to eat elsewhere. I think it at least has a nice fusion menu with some interesting choices, though I can’t speak on them since I did not try everything. If you want to enjoy a nice night out with some frends and focus on drinking rather than eating, it can be quite a perfect spot for it.
Guacamole with chips 2/5: Basic guacamole made in-house but not quite traditional. Loses a point for price-to-portion ratio. You get a good amount of tostadas but a small scoop of guac. What an imbalance!
Roasted duck tacos 10/10: You have to get this. I don’t care if you don’t like duck or never tried duck, you won’t regret this option. This is easily the tastiest fusion/non-traditional taco I have ever eaten. So juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. It comes with a deeply flavored
Consommé that really adds even more flavor. It is kind of like a birria taco but with no cheese and more of an Asian-inspired preparation. Can’t skip out on it.
Tacos: 1/5: Sorry, had to give it a 1. Basic flavor and horrible portion size. Wins 20/10 on smallest taco ever though. If you have a small appetite or feeding a baby, it may reach slightly subpar.

Went here for the first time on a Monday and sat outdoors—the vibe was great and I loved the ambiance. The tacos are delicious but small (about 3 bites each), so I’d suggest ordering at least 3 per person. For cocktails, I tried the Pineapple Pisco Punch which was great, but the must-try is definitely the Cazuela cocktail—I loved every sip, it was awesome! Avery did a fantastic job, very friendly and attentive. At the end, we filled out a survey with the bill and got a free taco coin for our next visit. Overall, excellent vibe, great cocktails, and awesome service.

I have been a longtime fan of bartaco. The food is always good, but since Covid there has been less interaction between customers and staff because of the scan to order app. JaQuez was hands on from the moment we walked in. He was attentive and genuinely kind. He is a great server and made our visit that much better.

Fantastic experience! The food was excellent, but the service truly stood out. We waited just a bit for our waitress, nothing major… but Jeremy, the general manager, immediately stepped in, made sure we were taken care of, and continued checking on us throughout the meal. Fatmata was our waitress and she was fantastic! The level of attentiveness elevated the entire experience. We’ll definitely be back!

JaQuez made my lunch everything I needed it to be. I popped in to Bar Taco for a quick solo lunch after a hectic week. Not only was his quality of service seamless, but I saw him fulfilling other tasks and helping other team members during a lunch rush. I’ll always keep coming back to Bar Taco because of the service. Introverts can order and pay from the QR code at the table or you can interact directly with a server. The tokens are also great and keeps me coming back for more!

This place is great to eat at before an event. You can just load your card up, choose food in the web app, order. Want more, order more. Then you can just leave and not worry about the bill unless you want to change the tip from the default tip which is 18%. Honestly, it makes thing really easy for us when we know we have some place to be. And it’s like really high quality food for a solid price.

Honestly the first time I tasted bar taco I wasn’t the biggest fan,and I am happy to announce I was wrong. After going to many restaurants in ATL, I have come to appreciate the simplicity of Bar taco. The service is great and efficient. The ambiance I always a vibe and fun.
The food is absolutely delicious, I crave it every other week and the drinks are refreshing yet just right. The price is amazing and honestly it’s a win in my books everytime. Food comes out fairly quickly and the bar is always fun to sit at. I have been with friends and solo and never had a bad experience.
