I didn’t want to rate so low:( But the combination of incredible wait times and food not to standard, it was the final decision. After a 40 minute wait- which we were advised about, we sat at 7:25. We ordered immediately because we had a toddler with us and asked for his when it was ready- over an HOUR later, we finally got our meals. The steak was overcooked and I’d say the same for the ribs… I had no problem with the service crew, but unfortunately their service was affected by the kitchen. Glad that this is not my local Outback, because I actually think that they are a good chain.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner at Lynchburg’s Outback. I had the Alice Springs chicken and he had the bloomin burger. Both were delicious and the baked potato was perfectly cooked. Our waiter, Judae, did a great job taking care of us and was very friendly and personable. .

Wait staff paid zero attention to us. We asked for extra sauce with the blooming onion, didn’t get it. My fiance got a salad. He sat there for almost 10 minutes unable to eat it because we never got any utensils. Then when the food came, they didn’t include the honey mustard with my Alice Springs Chicken, our fries were barely warm, the Mac and cheese was dry. Even the blooming onion wasn’t that good. The bartender checked on us once but our server didn’t. I wanted dessert but we left just to get away from there.

I don’t need to contact anyone I can tell you what the problem was. A friend of mine dined in at your restaurant and brought me a carryout meal. I ordered the Delmonico steak to be Medium well. It was completely raw on the inside! Never been so disappointed in a meal from this restaurant! Lesson learned!! Never order carryout from here!

I have loved the Lynchburg Outback Steakhouse for a long time . They usually do a really great job . Misty has always been a fantastic server and bartender . The crew are very nice people and you can tell they try hard . The only thing is , occasionally they bring us the wrong items or they don’t cook our food as we request it . It’s honestly frustrating to see how many times they haven’t cooked our food correctly and then we have to wait for it to be corrected .and it’s generally a long time , sometimes 15 or more minutes , to bring out the corrected order .

Bad service from the hostess skipping over us, to the server, to the slow kitchen. It did no good to call ahead & ask that our name be put on list. But while waiting, we saw a couple come in & get seated right away. We saw someone we knew there, & they said they had been waiting about 30 minutes, yet we got seated before they did. We were in there exactly 2 hours. The table had no utensils or napkins. The server “Cayden” did not notice. Later someone brought us our blooming onion, & didn’t hear us when we asked for utensils, napkins, & a couple of saucers. So we ate without them. About a half hour between each & any real service. Long wait fot tea refill. When we finally get our entree, no baked sweet potato as I ordered. Server came by couple minutes later & said they were out of sweet potatos & offered a substitution. What a joke – wait 30 minutes longer for a substitution!? Not! Salmon was good. Twice as many mushrooms as needed. Ribs were not good. Tiny. Small. Not meaty. Drowned in black pepper taste & swimming in too much sauce. Waited long time for container, & cheesecake to go, which was ordered that way when we ordered the entree. Last week we had excellent food & service at Driftwood Seafood, & in & out in about an hour. Week before that, went to Tori Blue & had great food & service in about an hour. Two weeks before that, Fleming Mountain Grill. Excellent food & service! And these other great places don’t make you check yourself out on that table machine. And the booths that are decades old are terribly uncomfortable.

I ordered curbside but someone stole my order do I had to wait for them to prepare my order again. They were very apologetic and gave me free dessert and a coupon for my next visit. I told the manager it was ok and she didn’t have to do that but she insisted. Customer service at it’s finest!!

Food- I went here a week ago and some of the chicken wings were raw! The manager took it off our tab and also gave us free appetizer cards. A week later when I returned to buy a $16.99 plus tax grilled chicken Cobb salad and use my free appetizer card, the nearly $20 salad took over 45 minutes to come out when there was only 3 other tables. When it came out it had only 2-3 oz of chicken on it (I weigh my food at home so I know what this looks like). The manager said 5 oz comes on it which I told her she could go weigh it bc I know it’s not 5 oz. It literally looked like 1/2 of a chicken breast sprinkled on top. I’m talking 5 small pieces less than the size of a quarter. I wouldn’t have even minded being cheated on that part IF the salad base itself was high value but it’s not. It’s just the cheap chopped romaine, no arugula or spring mix type of blend. I was so pissed that I waited so long for so little which was already overpriced. I told the manager they could just keep it.
Service- The young guy bringing out the food from the kitchen was visibly high or off in some way. He dropped a mozzarella stick on the lap of the person I was eating with as he was sitting the plate on the table.
Atmosphere- A very loud and depressing selection of alternative and country music blaring while waiting my life away for the sorriest salad I’ve ever seen. Never returning for this reason alone. If you want an upbeat happy atmosphere to eat in do not go here. If you want high quality food do not go here. If you want an overpriced redneck salad with very little protein, go here.
