You know it’s great steak when you don’t have to add steak sauce to your steak because it already has an amazing flavor!!
Plus we did get a little discount because our appetizer came out with our food. Which we didn’t mind too much but just the fact that the manager or whoever was in charge that night was very attentive of the tables being served means a lot & also even apologized about the appetizer coming out with our dinner.

I went there last week with a friend who is a regular. She highly recommended them and I could see why. The atmosphere inside is very cozy and relaxed, can even be intimate for a date.
The food and drinks were delicious. Our server, Kylar, was so nice.
The fries that come with their burgers are absolute perfection.
The only downside was the location is kinda hidden so navigating through the parking lot and shopping area can be a bit confusing but that isn’t their fault.

Such a great time here! Expensive but worth it for a treat. The 8oz filet was delicious – medium rare, tender, tasty. I added the gorgonzola sauce – pricey but amazing and so worth it for the added flavor if you like gorgonzola. Honestly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had – we will definitely be back. We visited for Valentine’s, with a reservation – they were clearly very busy but we were seated immediately and never felt rushed or like service was too slow.

We reserved the private dining room for a luncheon and Lizzie and Cindy were wonderful to work with in getting all the arrangements set up. We had a pre-selected menu and the food was delicious. The only thing I would change is title the Beef Tenderloin “Beef Tenderloin Sandwich” because it reads as if you were getting a piece of steak vs a sandwich. The Caesar salad was my favorite. The quality was all wonderful and our family loved the food. The service was great. Thanks again for making our family luncheon so memorable.

We gathered at Red Fire for a Birthday Happy Hour 1/8/26 and had excellent service from Lexi! Jen was bartending and is always efficient and friendly. There were 11 people and Lexi was great with drinks, we ordered all the appetizers, calamari and key lime pie – all delicious! We frequent burger night and I must say it’s always a great time due to the high quality of food, the service and the atmosphere. No doubt why Red Fire is a Hockessin/Delaware favorite of many.

I wish I remembered our servers name tonight (12/6/25). She was excellent. Was authentic, wasn’t rushed to take our order, but was always right on time. Intuitive. And was informative. Probably one the best experiences I’ve had here UNTIL the floor manager came out. My husband and I were having a convo over the last bits of food on our plates and she came up mid-convo and said something along the lines of “can I box that up for you? It looks like you’re done with that plate” or she was making a comment about my facial expression and how it looked like I was “over it” when really I was making a face relating to my convo with my husband. Anyway, I said yes box it up because in my head I was thinking obviously we’re taking too long and she’s trying to get us out even though I was working on some amazing bites of potato and steak juice (which were discarded). At one point she was just standing in an area with her hands behind her back staring out at the restaurant. Very unsettling. I appreciate when restaurants uphold standards and make changes as needed to meet their goals and make a better experience for us, but that kind of micromanaging is uncomfortable for the customer to experience. Our server was totally on our level and met our needs 100%. Didn’t need a manager to help. I am grieving those last bites of potato 🙁

We came during lunch and had a wonderful time. I ordered the tenderloin sandwich and it was incredibly flavorful. Our server was Maximo and his service was great. He was knowledgable, considerate, and attentive to our needs. 5 stars all around, we will be back.

Went there with a small party for lunch, and was very disappointed in my ripoff of a Shrimp Caesar salad. The Caesar salad itself was $13, and to add Shrimp was an additional $8, for ONLY 3 shrimp!!! The salad itself was kind of weak, with shredded lettuce, light dressing, and overall nothing to write home about; I think I’ve had better Caesar Salad from a Wendy’s for $4. The Shrimp were a decent size, and tasted good, but I cleared my plate and still left hungry.
Our Server was good, the atmosphere was nice. However, I can’t help feeling ripped off for paying $21 for a cafeteria-level salad with a handful of shrimp.

I’ve been here a few times in the past and it was really good- huge portions. Tonight, not so much. $39.95 for a 6oz filet mignon & a sweet potato. Small portion on a large plate. It was sloppy and looked like the food was thrown together. There was no presentation. It was disappointing. I asked for my filet to be medium and it was well over medium well. My husband ordered a burger and fries for $17.95 and the portion was huge. I really wish I ordered a sandwich/burger. I can’t believe how big that portion was compared to a steak entree. He also ordered a beer and when it came there was something floating in it, which looked like food that was left in the glass/it may have not been cleaned. It was disgusting. The waitress was really nice and attentive. She brought back a fresh beer. Not sure if we will be back. But we spent around $85 plus tip, which came out to be over $100. We did get coffee and shared a sundae.. which was better than our entrees, overall. After everything, It wasn’t worth it.
