We are a primarily Indian restaurant who also specialize in New York style baked cheesecakes with over 16 flavours. Our name GM comes from our 2 sons, Gourav and Mannvdeep who are our pride and joy. I had no idea why the biryani was so expensive, but I assumed it must be the best in the area. Unfortunately, it was the opposite. The dish tasted like a ‘sahi pulao’ served with a Bengali-style chicken curry, which felt as if the two were simply combined and sold as biryani. This was not the authentic experience I was hoping for. While I appreciate the effort, the dish did not meet my expectations for taste or value.

We ordered on Uber for the first time after hearing good reviews from friends. We were quite disappointed based on their experience.
First, I ordered a mango chutney (it’s why we ordered Indian in the first place – I was craving it so bad!!) and it was missing from our order.
I also ordered a garlic naan which was also missing.
2nd, my fiance’s platter was quite small for how much it cost, we are blown away that it was $37 for that little amount of food it was tasty so that was good atleast.
3rd, the samosas tasted pretty good but we’re like mashed potatoes inside and nothing like any of the samosas I’ve had before. There was also no sauce for them.
4th, the fish pakoras were honestly awful.
Would not recommend this place and will not be giving them another chance

GM is one of our favourite restaurants in Maple Ridge. The food is always fantastic (my favourite is the Mutter Paneer and garlic naan!) and the owners and employees are great people. The fact that they make an incredible cheesecake is the cherry on top!

I’ve been ordering from here for years and never had an issue. However I ordered recently and myself and my young daughter both got horribly sick with food poisoning. Since I ordered only vegetarian food, it makes me wonder and worry about cross contamination and cleanliness. Coming and reading other low rated reviews I wouldn’t be surprised. Very disappointed as I have always enjoyed my food from here, but with how sick we got I am very wary and unlikely to order from here ever again.

This family owned business offered a variety of delicious foods to choose from. Each one were super tasty and I love that they can customize too based to your preference or remove ingredients that will cause allergies. There are many vegan/vegetarian options. The servers and the owner were very attentive to our needs and came to often us ask if we need anything else.

First time at GM. We ordered a veg platter and a meat platter, and finished off with a slice of salted caramel cheesecake. Food was delicious, but lacking one star due to ordering a 5/10 spice level and the food was definitely lacking spice.
