First off, their daily happy hour from 5 PM to close is INSANE — everything on the happy hour menu is just $8, and the variety is unreal. The portion sizes were surprisingly generous, and my friend and I left completely stuffed. Even their popular cocktails were included in the happy hour deal!
Every dish was packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. Some standouts for me were the grilled octopus, fish and chips, cajun shrimp linguine, meatballs with vodka sauce (those meatballs were massive!), and the KBBQ skewers. Honestly, everything was so delicious I couldn’t stop myself from indulging. Also, GET THE EARL GREY TIRAMISU!! Literally the best dessert I’ve had at a restaurant omg.. Pro tip: come with stretchy pants, you’re going to need all the space in your stomach haha.
The service was excellent too — the staff was super attentive and gave us great recommendations, which really helped with the overwhelming number of options. The atmosphere was classy with the sparkling chandelier and vibrant neon sign, but it still felt cozy and welcoming.
Also, as a huge clam chowder fan, I was so thrilled to see it on the menu. It was hearty, packed with chunky clams, and so satisfying…
With the UNBEATABLE prices, flavorful food, and amazing service, this restaurant definitely earned a new regular. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you, Sparklings!!!
Return the next day for happy hour and Remi was our amazing server/bartender!! Everything was WONDERFUL!!!

My wife, mother-in-law, and I decided to try The Sparklings Italian Restaurant with relatively low expectations, especially since we were visiting during a busy holiday weekend. We didn’t actually go for the happy hour, but we were drawn in by their Everyday All Night Happy Hour deal, which runs daily from 5 PM until closing. Even though they didn’t have a special holiday dinner, we understood given the holiday rush.
When we arrived, we noticed that the dining room was empty, but the bar and bar tables were packed. Remi, the bartender, greeted us and helped us find a cozy booth. We started with the Meatballs (3pcs) for $9, which came with marinara and provolone, and the Artichoke Dip for $13. I expected the usual spinach artichoke dip you’d find at places like Applebee’s or Chili’s, but this one was amazing! It was incredibly creamy and flavorful — definitely a standout. The meatballs were tasty, but not quite as impressive as the dip, though they were the perfect size for sharing.
The bread and butter that Remi brought out were also a nice touch — simple but very tasty.
For our main courses, my wife ordered the Alfredo Chicken Linguini ($19), my mother-in-law went with the Shrimp & Crab Ravioli ($18), and I chose the Cajun Chicken & Shrimp Penne ($19). We each sampled each other’s plates, and everything was delicious. The flavors were rich, and each dish had something special to offer. It left us wondering, “How have we not discovered this place sooner?”
We also enjoyed some drinks: I had a couple of beers, while my wife and her mother enjoyed a bottle of wine. The drinks were great, and they paired nicely with our meals. Remi made excellent recommendations throughout the meal, and the service was outstanding.
Overall, The Sparklings really exceeded our expectations. Even though we didn’t visit for happy hour, the food, drinks, and service were fantastic. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu. If you haven’t been yet, this place is definitely worth a visit!
It really feels like there is just one guy back there making home cooked meals for people who happen to live in his neighborhood, and he is just so good at it, he makes a living doing it, haha. I have no idea if that is the case or not, but it’s meant as a compliment.
The portions are pretty big, and we have leftovers almost every time, which is always nice the day after not to have to make a lunch.
There was only one odd-ball time that I came up with my girl expecting it to be open and it was closed. I think they might have been doing a formal thing where it was rented out or something.. not entirely sure, but the lot was empty at the time and we were perplexed for certain.
Anyways, you wont regret a meal here. It won’t break the bank and I’ve literally never ordered something and not liked it.
