Came here for dinner with my friends while we were visiting upstate. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated they seemed pretty busy and a bit short-staffed, which is understandable, but you could definitely feel the rush.
The atmosphere is super cozy and charming, and one thing I absolutely loved was the little market in the back. They have so many unique snacks and goodies I ended up buying marshmallow crispies, ginger honey, mango habanero jam, and some chocolates. Honestly, the store alone is worth checking out.
When it comes to the food, though, we were disappointed. The only thing we really enjoyed were the buffalo wings those were delicious. I ordered the tavern steak sandwich, and unfortunately it had no flavor at all. I had to add salt and pepper, and even the dip they served with it tasted very plain. My friend got the same sandwich and said the exact same thing. Another friend ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and didn’t like it either it had way too much blue cheese & chicken wasn’t seasoned. I also ordered the onion soup, which was forgotten, but by then we didn’t even mind considering how busy they were.
Overall, the atmosphere and the market are great, but the food really missed the mark for us. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d definitely stop by for their store, but probably not for dinner.

We went here after our hike to the Kaaterskill Falls and it was perfect after all that walking! We got the pulled pork nachos (w/o jalapeños) for an appetizer, then for entrees we got the shrimp scampi pasta and the pulled pork mac and cheese.
I loved the orecchiette shaped pasta they use for the mac, and the pulled pork really elevated it all. The shrimps were a good size and the sauce was simple yet tasty! Service was wonderful and our server was very attentive. We’ll be back again for sure.

Great food & ambience. Fairly priced & tasting amazing. Our favorite & highly recommended. Fondue is fun date or family time out experience. Great wine & menu selection . Definitely a must in Tannersville!

I had the macaroni and cheese and it had a nice kick to it. My partner had the burger. Both were really good. This place has hearty warm meals perfect during skii season. We didn’t try the fondue but my sister and her fiance came earlier and said it was delicious.

Another Catskills restaurant that didn’t have enough reviews with photos, so I am here to pay it forward! My husband and I came here on a rainy evening and ordered the French Dip and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Both were great but especially the French Dip, which was also recommended to me by the person who shared this restaurant with me. The menu is pretty all encompassing – something for everyone. The ambience is kind of like Cracker Barrel haha, but it’s cute in its own way, too. This is not a cool or trendy place to eat, but it is good food!

Good food- enjoyed the local cheese plate, meatloaf, veggie burger and steak. Fondue was good desert.
Candy/cheese store also had fun selection. Manager was very friendly and helpful.
They dont have a deep fryer so fries and wings were baked- which was a plus for us – but maybe someone else wouldn’t love.

Awesome place, there is a ton going on so prepare for an experience. We ended up stopping by here after our first dinner option didn’t pan out and I’m glad it didn’t. The decor here is awesome with plenty of vintage toys and items to take in. We were seated rather quickly despite it being Saturday night, the place is huge! Server was super friendly and the owner was walking around talking to tables which I love to see. Menu is expensive with plenty of options we settled on the French onion soup and chicken pot pie. Soup was pretty good, very cheesy I would probably try something else next time, but the chicken pot pie was the star of the show. Buttery puff pastry and delectable filling, I dove in and didn’t look back until my plate was clean. My girlfriend looked on with a mix of sheer terror and amazement. Be sure to stop by their market on your way out! Will definitely be back

Great experience! It was a little pricey, but the food was worth it. Service can take a little bit, but that’s fair, especially when they’re busy. The fondue was legit and to die for, though it wasn’t really worth adding the charcuterie. The French onion and chili were awesome, though the chili had large chunks of jalapeños that I wasn’t a fan of. The french onion needed a tad bit more salt but it tasted great. The burgers were also delicious. The fries were flavorful and crispy. Definitely recommend especially after a long day of winter activities.
