FIVE STARS to Daybreak Donuts! We totally enjoyed our hot-off-the-press donut with maple syrup glaze. Dozens of selections—so everyone will be pleased. Good service, too, and lots of fun, wearable merch in the store. Our cottage was less than a mile away, so we walked—easy access points from the beach. If you’re driving, when you exit the bridge onto the island, turn right onto Topsail Drive. Daybreak Donuts is beside Sunrise Bagel (think meal + dessert), less than two blocks on the right on the sound side, before Raleigh Avenue. See photos…

I’m a donut fanatic and this place was sooooooo good. The donuts were hot and freshly made to order, and came out quick! We tried a bunch of flavors and I know this place will be a staple. We got lemonade, salted caramel, banana cream pie, Black Forest, Bongo’s blueberry hill, and strawberry shortcake. I also got the seasonal flavors Dutch apple pie and pumpkin pie, which are in the pic. I also bought a cute crewneck and I’m gonna wear it later this week to get my free donut. The girls working were very nice and helpful.

Oh my goodness best donuts I’ve ever had! So sad we don’t have one of these in GSO! Tried the Bluberry, Pumpkin Pie and Original with honey glaze. Why are they so yummy!!? They were so light, fluffy and they make them on the spot so they’re warm and fresh! Would definitely recommend!! 10/10 would go again!!

Delicious! I didn’t realize they are made fresh to order which is great because you get fresh donuts anytime of day. We stopped by around 3:30 on a Thurs afternoon. It was not busy at that time. The girls working were friendly and patient as my two young kids tried to decide what they would like. There are so many options of glazes and toppings to choose from. The donuts have a slight crisp to them which I absolutely love. I forgot to take a picture before we all started eating them

From the top left, we had death by chocolate, key lime pie, fruity pebbles, lemonade, banana pudding, chicken and waffles, orange roll, maple coffee cake, sea turtle, strawberry shortcake, black forest, and margarita. They fry them fresh to order and then flavor them right in front of you! This is another place you need to visit while you are here!

The good , the bad and the ugly. Love the beach setup and the little store was nice. You get to watch the donuts being made to order. I love the fact you get hot donuts. The staff were friendly and took our order fast. Yes the donuts are a little pricey but I would be more than fine with paying a higher price for a more quality product. With that being said I was not a big fan of the batter they use to make them. Also they are very flat and not raised. I’m sure there are people that love them but just not for me. They were almost like cake. But I am glad I stopped to try them out anyways.

Our first time at Daybreak and even though we are back home, 4.5 hours away- I can’t stop thinking about those donuts!!!!! The girl taking our order was helpful and friendly. The girl who dipped and packed our order was efficient and everything was absolutely mouthwatering!!! We got two dozen donuts for 11 of us and we cut each donut into pieces so that we could sample them all! There was not one donut we did not like !

Expect to get your donuts to go, as seating is very limited. (We sat on a bench outside.) Parking is tight during times of high demand (like weekend mornings).

I loved everything about Daybreak donuts! The young ladies there were very friendly and offering suggestions of which donuts to try since it was our first time visiting. Peaceful atmosphere and I didn’t get a chance to take pics of my purchase because we swallowed them up time we got in the car! Will definitely be back! Our church here in Fayetteville “Born Again Ministries Church” has ChurchBoys fishing trips in your area and my husband will be back with the group. Lol
