I dined here for lunch with my family. The service was good, but it did take a while to get our food. When we did get it, 2 burgers were pink even though we asked for well done. The one that was sent back was cooked to well done the second time. I had a crab cake that was definitely lump meat- good, but not great. It was just not as good a flavor as some I have had. I thought it was a bit small for the $25 price as well. We had some food allergies, and were still able to find things to order without having any allergic reactions. The view was very lovely. It was cold that day, but we still enjoyed walking around near the water after eating. It would be great to enjoy eating outside on a warmer day. My kids noted that there were some things playing on the tvs that they didn’t think were appropriate.

Edit: We have returned a couple of times. We went on a nice summer evening, and it was a little loud for our taste, but the view is lovely. We ended up taking our food to go. The crab dip nachos were great, and I enjoyed the old bay wings.

Snappers was tasty. We also arrived just before the lunch rush. Customer service was quite pleasant.

I had a burger with crab dip on top. The burger was a little under cooked for my taste but they took it back and cooked it more for me. Bravo!

Also at the table was a regular cheeseburger and a crab cake. I was satisfied with mine. Fries were also quite good.

Oh, and iced tea was good

So we just stumbled across this place and what a delight. The outdoor seating is just fabulous. Tiki bar and seating by the water makes it the perfect atmosphere. We didn’t eat a full meal because all we stopped for was a drink and appetizer. Stuffed mushrooms were great! My wife loved the bloody Mary. Wait staff was delightful. Next time back (and we will be back) we will eat a full meal and get the full experience. Great time.

I keep thinking about the best jerk chicken I’ve had outside of Jamiaca. I didn’t even order it bc I was sure it wasn’t going to hold up. I stole a bite of my sister-in-law’s salad, and then when she forgot her leftovers at our the house we were renting and I was like SCORE! Service, food, and drinks were phenomenal. The deck was packed, so we sat at a table by the window and enjoyed the view from the cool a/c. Cream of crab soup was excellent. Crab dip was EXACTLY as good as The Washingtonian reported, too. Highly recommend basically everything because we ordered most of it. It was so good I forgot to keep taking pictures.

After exploring the Underground Railroad Byway per the Visit Maryland Tourism Board (visitmaryland.org) which took us to a number of sites outlying the history and heritage of Harriett Tubman, we wanted to enjoy some water views and dine outside. My partner found this spot. The menu was extensive. I ignored the reviews and we pulled up. On a Saturday late afternoon, it wasn’t busy. We were able to be quickly seated and outdoors as requested. The hostess was inefficient in service (read: slow) but I think this is the norm for the hospitality industry right now.

The food was so-so. The crab nachos were good – not amazing, but good. We split a small as an appetizer between 4 people. The hamburgers looked good and the kids ate theirs – without the bun. The fresh cut fries were delish. I grabbed a few of my son’s after sending back the Jerk Scallops. The Scallops came on a bed of salad with a sauce that was absolutely horrid. I can’t describe it. It even smelled bad. I can’t recommend that dish at all. My partner had the jerk chicken quesadilla and my mom had the fish tacos. None were pleased. It could very well be that we didn’t purchase items that were their better offerings such as the fresh ground beef or crab items. For anyone else visiting, please consider what you order. And pack your patience. Sitting outdoors on the patio was relaxing and the weather and ambiance was nice, despite the abundance of flies.

I hope you find this review helpful. If so, please give me a thumbs up. Thank you in advance.

We’ve been here 3 times since March. Love the atmosphere and ambience. The food sometimes can take long however it’s fresh. Tried the snapper fingers as well as the snapper fish dinner. The beer batter is great as far as the crunch however, there is no seasoning on the fish, it’s bland with a crunch lol(I sprinkled Old Bay and a little salt on it). The crab dip also bland, Jerk Tacos need a mild sauce to bring out the flavor, and the wings could use some season as well. Drinks were good and Prices are reasonable. Cant wait until the weather breaks to enjoy the Tiki bar.

Found this restaurant driving over the Choptank Creek Bridge next door to #jmclaytonseafood. Very casual dockside tiki bar restaurant, crowded in the middle of the day. Excellent cold drinks but better crab dishes. The best crab cakes I’ve had! No filler jumbo lump Crab meat with jerk seasoning. I highly recommend this place.

Our favorite place to eat whenever we are in Cambridge. Seafood is always fresh. Very helpful and friendly staff. The parking can be a bit tricky.

The food was good especially the fried pickles. The tiki bar theme was great. Outside the lake it was on was a little smelly the day I went, but that’s ok it happens. I definitely would want to go back next time I’m in Cambridge!

Came here for lunch. They had inside and outside seating, which all had great views and decor.

The food was great, and they had plenty of drinks to choose from.

It is worth a try if you’re in the area.
