Don’t let the size fool you — this place is legit. Small spot with just a few tables and bar seating, but the food absolutely delivers. Fresh, flavorful Tex-Mex that tastes homemade, not rushed or over-commercialized. Exactly the kind of hole-in-the-wall you hope to find. If you’re looking for fancy décor, this isn’t it — but if you want real Tex-Mex done right, Habanero’s is the move.

I give Habanero a sold four star rating. Food was good, I had the barbacoa street tacos on flour tortillas. Little dry for my liking… fat is flavor. My buddy loved the mini burrito. He tells me the margaritas are amazing but it was a little early for me today. Quaint little place. I’ll come try again.

This is the BEST Tex Mex restaurant I have ever been to. Service is great and the food is fabulous. I particularly enjoy the chile rellanos, shredded chicken tacos and the tacos al carbon; however everything I see come out of the kitchen looks first rate. I really cannot recommend this restaurant. Picture on left is chile rellanoa and right is tacos al carbon. Portions are so large we have enough to take home for dinner.

OMG, best damn taqueria in the area! I’ve tried just about every taqueria and Habaneros is my favorite. They are fast, friendly, and cost is great. For the flavor and amount foodbyou get in there tacos and plates, you can’t beat them. I grew up in the Rio grande Valley and this place reminds me of the food back home !

The hidden gem of the Friendswood Tex-Mex community!! Don’t be surprised if there’s not enough room for you to sit on popular nights at dinner time, but that is the ONLY complaint.
It’s delicious. They’re friendly. There are options for everyone. Serving sizes are generous. Made with some TLC. Give it a try when you’re around!

First time being here with my family!. The food is very delicious! Our server Liliana deserves a raise. It’s a recommend for everyone to try! Very home vibes and you watch while they cook your food! Oh and homemade cheese cake from miss Liliana herself. We took a slice home and it was beyond expectations! Must try!!

Great spot for breakfast tacos and traditional Tex-Mex breakfast items. I love the lunch tacos too. We eat here weekly. Most ppl order to go, but you can sit at the counter and eat, which is also kinda fun. Best breakfast tacos in the area!

Best breakfast taco! Stuffed with goodness. As far as atmosphere, place is small with limited seating. The only place for a group larger than 2 is the bar. There were 4 of us so the bar it was for us. But we loved it. Watching the cooks was great. They do a lot of to go orders. Can’t wait to get another taco!
