Came here after seeing it all over my Instagram, and since I was in the area I checked it out! Definitely worth the hype.
I ordered from the Valentine’s Day menu (which was so cute), and my boyfriend got some generic items.
I got the heart-shaped torta and it was really good and HUGE. Lowkey worth the $15, but it’s definitely meant for two because I couldn’t finish it.
The matcha latte was SO good!! One of the best matchas I’ve had in a long time. The strawberry mix was amazing, and the foam was also yummy.
My boyfriend got the taco dinner and said the lengua was the best meat. And you can never go wrong with a Mexican Coke.
Overall, this is a great spot! I only wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but I’m sure that’ll be better once there’s outdoor seating. The staff was super welcoming, and our server was really nice.

Wanna give this place 5+ stars but the side of consomme was a let down – all broth, zero meat. However, aside from that – FRIGGIN WOW! Some of the most delish birria dishes I’ve ever tried! Homemade salsas (i believe) are fantastic & huge portions! Keep up the wonderful work!

LOVE tacotlan. They have a decent amount of vegetarian options. Definitely enough for me to keep coming back and the food is always consistent. Every time I try it, it’s like I’m trying it again for the first time. I always get the specialty character tortas. My favorite is the bunny torta.! Always so filling and worth it. The service is always good too! Everyone is always friendly. The drinks are also just as good. As a barista I wanna know how yall get the cold foam so perfectly and thick!? Yall have easily become one of my fave mexican restaurants!

Wow I had a good plate I got the Birria Torta and it was packed with flavor. It didn’t even need the consommé. Staff was friendly BUT my friend found hair in her food they got her a new dish right away. And seems like they need to update their menu. We got drinks and we read on the menu that it was $6 for a large. So we ordered it turns out on the receipt it was $10. $4 goes a long way but we paid and left.

I’ve always had great experiences at Tacotlán, and this time was no exception. We recently ordered delivery and a main course was missing, which was a big deal — but Alexandria handled it with such care. She took my call and personally brought the missing item, which I truly appreciated. Her effort to make things right did not go unnoticed. Thank you for the excellent meal (and the refreshing strawberry horchata)! Highly recommend.

Ordered some quesabirria and had it delivered. The taste was great but not as crunchy as eating it in the restaurant. I also ordered chips and guacamole. They were both good. I really like their homemade chips. I look forward to ordering again and/or stopping into the restaurant.
