I do not like leaving negative reviews unless I just have to. The ONLY reason why I stepped foot inside this establishment was for a pick up Door Dash order. I had never been to this particular Minsky’s & don’t plan on going back I didn’t know that the take out orders & pick up orders are separate from the dine in area. Most restaurants have a spot for mobile orders which I didn’t see. I walked in the take out order side which was congested. I was the only African American person standing in the entire restaurant the employees asked other customers next to me who came in after me what their name was & checked their order. One of the employees finally asked me had I been waited on? I told her no & I was here to pick up an order. She looked in the computer & said the order wasn’t ready yet although I received a message stating my order was ready. I walked out & sat in the waiting area where their were only 2 chairs. I waited 10 minutes another employee asked had I been waited on I replied yes & I was waiting on my order. I sat there another 10 minutes before I got the order after 5 other customers walked right in picked up their order & left. I couldn’t wait to get out of that restaurant & I don’t care how many awards they won this particular restaurant is best for NOT treating customers equally & from the looks of the pizza pictures you are really not the best for pizza.

Came in on Superbowl Sunday. Was seated immediately and where we wanted, away ftom door or restroom in a booth. Dalton was our server and was excellent. Customer service above par. Was effecient, knew answers to food questions and prices. Came by to check all was okay. Pizza was a little cool but very nicely offered to get heated back more to our liking and was back in no time at all. So very very pleased with EVERYTHING! Dalton is a great example of what Minsky’s is about. Thank you thank you. Was worth the 1 hour 36 minute drive.

I ordered Philly with whiz, got provolone. Not a biggie to me I’m a foodie. Sandwich was great. I also ordered pizza. Chicago style, I’m from Chicago here on buisness. It was thick crust and super stingy on cheese and toppings. Chicago style is heavy toppings.heavy cheese. Heavy sauce, a real meal. Needs to be cooked in cast iron to get the Christy crust. It was edible but minskys if you want to take your joint to the next level reach out. I can get you there. At 28 bucks I paid for a great pie. I’ll eat there again. Not ripping the place just trying to help. Your delivery driver was great and I tipped him well. Oh and by the way , it’s Friday night and the place is empty..

Low key, but very good. Their toasted raviolis are very tasty. I knew the food would be delicious as soon as we walked in; it just smelled great.
Not my favorite pizza I’ve ever had, but still very good. They have a lot of options on their menu, which is nice when you are craving something different. Also, I am a fan of anyone who uses cheese whiz on their philly cheese steak.
The staff are very friendly and prompt with their service. Clean throughout with plenty of seating.

Shawnee location – Baked Cream Cheese and Pesto Dip since reopening has WAY too much garlic in it. We were customers before the new construction happened. The Baked Cream Cheese and Pesto Dip was amazing and we ordered it every time we dined at Minsky’s in Shawnee. Now… it’s way too garlicky!! We no longer order it. Please put the old recipe back!

Placed an online order for carry out on 6/28. Navigated the construction detours to/from. Arrived home to discover they messed up the toppings on one of our pizzas (black olives instead of meatballs). Sent them a message about it, but they did not respond.

Shawnee Minskys was a good spot for pizza but like all Minskys lately, there’s no management. Eating at the bar on a Saturday night and the servers were rolling silverware at the bar, taking up 4 seats loudly doing their side work which should be done out of view of customers and especially not at the bar.
The bartender was nice but so concerned with talking to her boyfriend at the bar that it basically took waving at her to get attention away from her boyfriend. She left her only table in the bar sitting without being able to order food for what I think was 15 mins while getting her boyfriend beer and flirting. No manager in sight on a Saturday. The lights were up so bright it was like a doctors office. Do better Minskys.

We got the Crab Rangoon pizza. The flavor, flavors, and textures were amazing – what a superb pizza!! Plus, it came with 2 fortune cookies – how thoughtful, appropriate, and a cute addition to our order!! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because they don’t deliver to our address – otherwise, perfect!!
