The service in general has been very good as well.
I really like the decor of this place with natural wood and glass art.
It can be difficult to find parking near the restaurant, particularly when the mall is busy. There is a free garage on the other side of the mall that usually has room.
When we arrived there was no one in the restaurant, so it was relatively quiet before the dinner rush. However, it took a server nearly 20 minutes to bring us water. We were concerned after that.
Once our waitress brought our water and bread to our table, the service did a 180. Our waitress was super sweet and helped us choose a side dish to complement both my filet mignon and my husband’s ribeye. We decided on the asparagus and Holladay sauce. Needless to say, that was the perfect choice. Plus having a touch of bacon makes it better. If you’re thinking about getting a side dish, it’s a perfect size for two people.
Now, my filet mignon was butter-melting tender and barely needed a knife to cut through. The BEST and I mean, the best filet mignon I’ve ever had. And let me talk about those potatoes, you’ll want seconds, thirds, or even a fourth helping if they allow that.
The ribeye steak was cooked to a medium-rare perfection to my husband’s taste. When taking a bite, it had the proper amount of seasoning but was not overwhelming to the meaty flavor of the steak. The seasoning complimented it. This was a top contender for one of his favorite choices of steaks.
The Crème brûlée was out of this world good! This topped my favorite Crème brûlée from another restaurant I’ve been to and that’s saying something. The sugar crust had the right amount of thickness and the fresh fruit was the perfect touch.
Despite the rough start to our evening, this was by far one of the best steakhouse restaurants we have been to. We will be back again!
I would highly recommend this restaurant for any larger celebration or party you may want to host. We will definitely book something here again in the future!
Thank you:-)
Sincerely,
The VIDA team
I can’t rave about it though, the experience just felt off. Little things forgotten, things seemed slow. Our party was all together and ordered at 6:30pm and food didn’t arrive until 7:25pm.
It was just ok.
When we asked about something that was listed in the menu that didn’t arrive with the meal it felt more like it was our mistake.
Everything was prepared well, but I can’t say everything was “good”. Cobia was excellent! Coleslaw was very disappointing, like the focus was on the flavors of already bland vegetables. It was not trying to wow you.
One of our party didn’t get her wine until after dinner was already underway, and that was after asking much earlier for it. Another member of our party asked for a refil of his beverage twice before not asking our server for his refill.
I can’t say it was a bad time, but I can’t say it was my favorite experience ever. So get dessert though, that was on point.
