Walked here from Springhill Suites for dinner. It’s very close and on a Tuesday night in November not to busy. Sat at the bar and ordered a beer. Service was friendly and good. Pizza didn’t take too long and was tasty. I would definitely eat here again, would love to try some pasta dishes. Please note your tip for service is already added to your bill. I’m wondering if service wasn’t as expected 18% how you deduct?

The stuffed mushroom appetizer was really good, would have been nicer with a glass of wine however I placed a Togo order. There are four.

Ordered the basic cheese pizza with salad combo deal. The cheese is that weird hardened chewy kind? I personally don’t care for it. The ranch was not good. The salad was very fresh and an ample portion.

I gave the hostess my name for my pickup order then instead of getting it, she seated people behind me first, then asked my name again, just thought that was a little rude.

We had a wonderful meal! The caprese salad, pasta, and pizza were all excellent. Our server was really nice and helpful, easily confirming the vegetarian options. The complimentary bread and olive oil with garlic were the best part—absolutely delicious! The vodka sauce pasta had a particularly lovely aroma.

Drinks incredibly expensive. Food is a mixed bag. The specialties were delicious. The chicken piccata bland and the chicken chewy. Atmosphere amazing. Great music, great service, great lighting.

First time going to myrtle beach. Just arrived and wanted something filling to enjoy.

I had the chicken and veggies with penne. I never got my salad, which was okay. Was a lot of food. The chicken had little to much seasoning on it. The veggies they used olive oil on it since can’t eat dairy. Really appreciated that. Pasta was okay. Not much taste to it.

We travel to the same hotel at least annually and have tried the nearby restaurants with the exception of Hot Tomato. We decided to try it because my children thought pizza sounded good. Our waitress was great. We started with truffle fries which were great. We ordered a pizza which was flimsy, undercooked and disappointing but, my kids didn’t seem to mind. I ordered the Chicken Piccata because I love a lemon wine sauce. It was bland but, not terrible. I wish the sauce had a thicker consistency and more flavor. The check included several surprises including, 18% autogratuity, 2.00 fee that could not be explained by the staff and was itemized as “fee” on the receipt, and an increased price of an additional 2.70 with the correct/original total listed as the “cash discount”. I was later told the additional “fee” is a credit card fee that was added prior to me deciding if I planned to pay in cash. This ultimately increased my bill by 4.70 total plus an automatic gratuity of 18%. I was just so displeased by the billing and lack of explanation of the random fee that we will never go back.
We go to at least two of the establishments on that street every visit but I was very put off by this. Seems like the two people leaving prior to us were upset for the same reason. I usually tip 20 or better but, when I’m not given the choice, 18%, is what you’re taking so that’s what they’re getting.

My order was the Margherita Pizza with truffle fries.

The pizza was delicious and filling. Thin with a solid crunch to the crust. Reminded me of those NY thin-crust styled pizzas. Slight buttery-oil crust at that, and I loved it.

*so the fries is the main thing that dropped this review and it pains me…

So I ordered the Special Truffle Fries as an appetizer. And for 12 bucks, I’m looking for some genuine representation of this meal.

I didn’t get that at first. What was brought out to me were just regular fries with ketchup…

Made the note to the waitress and out comes the fries again, but with the sprinkled-on . It was good to don’t get me wrong, but looking at the photos of what these fries look like and the especially the price, it didn’t quite meet the worth-meter, so I may not order that so favorably next time…

Nonetheless, overall, the food was good and gave me something to add to my food portfolio as worth to come back to, especially when giving others a tour of Myrtle Beach.
