I was craving a lamb kabob so I visited Mazadar Mediterranean Kitchen in Colonie, NY. The lamb was perfectly spiced and extremely tender and delicious. The rice had amazing seasoning and the salad was great with delicious white dressing. If I lived here, I would eat here at least once per week.

One of the best spots upstate. I’ve tried local restaurants in the area but NOTHING beats this place. The flavor of the food is well worth the money. If you want bland and cheap quality food for the price, this isn’t for you and should drive further down the road for that. Here are some pics I’ve got over the year(s) dining here. We had the chicken wrap and chicken salad. The food was excellent – the salad was especially fresh. The portions were generous. The dining area was clean and well-lit. The service was friendly. Mazadar was definitely one of the highlights during our trip to Albany!

Me and my uncle go to albany every year to drop off hot air balloon equipment at a shipping company and last year we discovered this place and it was amazing, so this year we decided to head back again for more and it did not disappoint at all, I had the lamp chops and lamb kabob and it was absolutely delicious.

Informal atmosphere with great service and great food. Portion sizes are large and also reasonably priced. Great if you love kabobs! This place made me feel nostalgic. As soon as I walked in, the aroma, smells, and light music reminded me of my aunts home, and a time long gone. I was speechless before the food even came. Of course the food was excellent. Highly recommend this place!
