This place is so amazing. Walked in with 0 wait. For drinks we ordered cherry coke, the timey beer, and a pink margarita which came out very fast. The Bavarian pretzel is very good but we weren’t a fan of the cheese. We ordered the filet mingon, the New York strip, and a byo chicken sandwich. The steaks were VERY nicely cooked, the chicken sandwich was delicious, and it was made exactly the way we wanted it. Overall, it was a great restaurant with a nice exterior.

I’ve visited Schaendorf several times now, and I’ve always been pretty happy with it. The service is good, the beer is solid, and the food is good. This last time I tried their Dorf burger, and it was cooked perfectly to my request. It stayed together pretty well while eating it too. You really can’t go wrong with ordering beef here since they also sell meat and know what they’re doing. The beer menu was a bit limited during this last visit, but the beer I tried called Timey was quite easy to drink. Overall, Schaendorf is a good choice for drinks or dinner in Allegan.

We were staying in town for the weekend and told this place is a must go. Well, we were not disappointed. Nothing bad to say. We sat at the bar and had a great time.
Drinks were great. Food was even better. Probably one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time.
We talked to the bartender a bit and it seems like everyone genuinely enjoys their job and were happy. This is a rare find.

Great, affordable place to grab a pint and some grub. The burger I had was pretty exceptional, and I grabbed some beef on the way out as they sell steaks and other meat in the vestibule. It was a 40 minute trip to get there, but I could see stopping off every few months to grab a bite and something to stock the freezer with. Will certainly be back

This is a great restaurant and a gem for Allegan. We love their beers and Brussel sprouts (which we hope they bring back). Their salads are wonderful! Great burgers and steaks too. The atmosphere makes it special.

I can say this restaurant does not disappoint! we had a great dining experience from the host greeting us to our AWESOME server Robert C he went above and beyond he was super busy but that didn’t take away from the service he provided us. The food was delicious we had the steak tips for our appetizer the garlic butter sauce was so good and the burgers were cooked perfectly!!
We will be back, need to find out what nights Robert C works he really made the overall dining experience the best.

I liked the beer the most, and the atmosphere. I had ordered my burger to be cooked medium rare, if just a bit of pink. You be the judge looking at the pictures. They did make me another one but I don’t think it was any different.

Worth every penny! We chose to try this tonight over Texas Roadhouse for my husbands birthday and we’re so glad we came. We will definitely be back and highly recommend. Some of the lower reviews had us a little worried but honestly we had a great experience, were full and happy and can’t wait for our next visit.

Yum. The moment we walked in I was impressed. Spacious, clean, darker inside with a great patio. Really loved the patio set up. Not to much sun And the furniture was good seating.
I was impressed on the portion sizes and the parm garlic and smoked buttermilk aioli were so good with our brussel sprouts.
Our server was a sweetheart and it was a gorgeous day and my toddlers enjoyed having the patio. I will come back here again.
