I had a custom order made within 24 hours. I sent a picture and I felt like it didn’t turn out so well, but my wife and everyone else love it! It was for her birthday. On the other hand, THE BEST CAKE I EVER TASTED IN MY LIFE! I will be back for sure and make sure I will order ahead of time.

I ordered a cake from another bakery for a Birthday and it was awful, the cake was small, dry and had no flavor so I rushed to RICK’S I knew from previous visits they would have something, they did..
I was so happy to find a cake, a beautiful cake and it tasted great, it was soft and flavorful..

I have been ordering cakes from Rick’s Bakery for the past 20 years & they are amazing. Specifically, Shannon is the absolute best & she has helped design so many cakes for me, {attaching a few photos of my favorite cakes Shannon has helped me with}. If you need an anniversary, wedding, or birthday cake call & ask for Shannon!! {My apologies the lighting it a little off on a few of the photos ~ but in person the cakes were perfect !!}

I went into Rick’s here in Fayetteville. I stood at the counter. The place was busy but no line at the counter. Jennifer, the general manager comes up and asked if I was in line. I said I see no line but I’m in a big hurry. Dirty look from her, asked what I wanted., she put it in a bag and she threw it at me. I commented at the register and was told that sound about right. Apparently she isn’t very nice to her employees either. Remember Jennifer, a happy employee is a good employee and a happy customer leaves excellent reviews!

Rick’s has some great tasting cakes and cupcakes and that’s what saved them for a 2 star rating. Other than that they are over priced for a SUB PAR cake. We got a two tiered wedding cake and the color being wrong wasn’t that big of a deal. But the cake looked like a toddler pieced it together…. Crooked, uneven, bulging and had imperfections that were very noticeable. Ordered it to be made and picked up in Rogers but when we arrived at the Rogers location they could not find it. After a few calls it was “located” at the Fayetteville location so we had to change plans to make time to go to Fayetteville to pick it up. For the price you can find a cake else where of a better quality. Looked awful but it did taste good if that’s all you want.

Ole’ Rick did it right when he purchased the entire location where he resides. Kitchen with windows so you can watch the magic before your eyes. Bakery for those upscale cakes that compliment any occasion you desire. Little goodies and gifts to accomplish your goal in one visit. Classroom so you can unleash your inner baker. Coffee and drinks to top off that indulgence you so deserve. Rick’s is everything you’d think it’d be and then some. I thought I was dreaming when I finally found someone who makes Petite Fours the way I dreamed they’d be. The staff is always so nice and friendly as well. Just a great experience all around! I make a point to go every time I visit NW Arkansas.
