Mind Set On Travel
What a great lunch. Sierra was great and provided great reviews of dishes we were contemplating. Ended up choosing French Onion Soup, Gaelic Chicken and Burger – which all were amazing. Just might have to come back and sample other things on the menu on our visit to NYC.

We were lucky to be the first customers to be served and to see the real beauty of this place accompanied by great retro pop music. Steak and onion soup were delicious. Desserts too. They offer wide range of alcoholic beverages.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the same experience as many others. We went in at 9:30pm and were told the kitchen was closing and we needed to order within 15 minutes. The food came out all at once so by the time we finished appetizers our main dishes were cooled off. My Gaelic chicken was on the drier side. The mashed potatoes it sat on was flavorless. Not sure why, but there were a few random pieces of romaine lettuce on top of the entire dish. Garnish? The fish, of the fish and chips, was a bit on the overcooked side. The onion soup had a bit of an “off” flavor. Probably because it was the last two bowls they served out of the pot after a long time of warming/cooking. Shortly after we were served, at 10pm, our waiter’s shift was over and he handed us off to the bar tender. I get it, we were there late, but don’t post that you’re open until midnight and send waiters home at 10pm. We went there because it said they were open until midnight and expected the same service we’d get as if it were 8pm. The prices were the same, the food and service should reflect that at all times they are open. If I go back, I hope to have a better experience.

Really disappointing experience. The fish and chips were overcooked, dry, and super oily. The mango shrimp was crispy but totally lacked flavor. Definitely way overpriced for the area, and we were expecting much better food.
The only plus was that the service was decent, but honestly, we didn’t enjoy the meal at all. Wouldn’t recommend.

The food is amazing and very filling. I recommend the Gaelic Chicken and Shepherds Pie. For drinks, I’d recommend the Rumor Has It cocktail. The interior is spacious and perfect for pictures. My rating: ★★★★★ 30/10 ദ്ദി(｡•̀ ,<)~✩‧₊

It was quite easy to get a reservation on a Saturday evening. Service was fantastic! Francesca was super friendly, patient and helpful with the food descriptions and sizes. The Shepard’s pie is the best I have had! A very generous portion and the mashed potato on top is so light and fluffy, very tasty beef filling. Dublin bay chowder is filled with seafood and the mango shrimp is delicious. The burger patty is thick and juicy.
Servers Sebastian and Christine are so attentive to detail! Great dining experience!

Just had an absolutely fantastic experience at Langan’s NYC. The brunch was outstanding—my omelet was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can tell the kitchen truly cares about quality and presentation. The cocktails we ordered exceeded expectations.
But the real star of the evening was our server, Francesca. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel taken care of from start. She brought such a positive energy to the table that she elevated the entire dining experience. It’s rare to have a server who can balance professionalism and friendliness so effortlessly, but Francesca nailed it.
Between the delicious food and Francesca’s exceptional service, Langan’s has officially become one of my favorite NYC spots. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Reminiscent of the original, but quite a bit more contemporary. Specially drinks are well thought out and stands in front of the craft cocktail lineup. Each item on the menu is top quality and presented with professional care. We had the profound honor in meeting the proprietor, Desmond, a true Irishman of character and class. Well done Des!

Absolutely gorgeous food and the service was excellent. Came out on a wet Sunday evening and this restaurant/bar made it so worth our while. Can def recommend the chicken lollipops. My husband has the cup of chowder and said it was delicious. For mains we had the lobster ravioli (fab) and the steak (also fab). The spicy marg, not in the menu, was lovely! Def recommend this restaurant if you’re in NYC.
