BEST WAFFLES EVER! My family and I came after an event in Downtown and had the best experience! Tucson’s Waffle House has incredible service and menu selection. Shoutout to Lucí fer! She was working it late into the night (Waffle House is open 24/7). She was so pleasant and hospitable, she refilled our drinks, checked in regularly, and had a generally great vibe. The staff made a good team and backed each other up when it got busy.
I highly recommend sitting at the counter, it’s a fun, late-nite experience and you get all the tea! Sorry I’m nosy, haha! I ordered a massive waffle, it filled up the plate and came with high-quality butter. Additionally, I ordered a Philly cheesesteak-style breakfast sandwich with hashbrowns. It’s definitely one of my favorite meals of the year. The meat was tender, the bread had that classic diner crisp, and the hashbrowns were perfectly cooked. My only complaint about my experience would be that the menus were a little sticky! Other than that, this place is one of my new favorite chains!
If you’re near Downtown, I highly recommend this location. It’s also close to the freeway and well-lit. You can’t miss it!

The service was smooth and fast. The server greeted us and made some small talk. The food was good, but the grits were super thick and clumpy in some parts. Coffee was typical Waffle House or a small diner coffee.

Cherry, who works the front at Waffle House, was very professional and incredibly sweet. She has a great attitude and makes customers feel welcome. You can tell she truly cares about her job. She definitely deserves a raise or promotion. Great employee and the cooks good too

I visited here early one Sunday to relive the memories of the best waffles and decent food for a good price. What I got were the worst waffles that tasted mealy and powdery. The bacon actually tasted like shoe leather. I have never tasted bacon so bad that was tough and had no flavor.
I have been to WH all over the country and have always gotten a consistent flavor experience. This place was a real letdown.

My hashbrowns with double onions: could only find onions that resembled frozen onions found on Krystal and White Castle. I’m from Atlanta. Grew up eating these hashbrowns and NEVER did I see onions like this! Why is it so different out West? Never gonna get again. The grits, which are complimentary back east but not here: the grits were pretty good. That’s what I’ll get from now on. Waitress and cook were delightful!

Friendly staff, clean restaurant and hot food. Only issue is have is the change in the waffles. I prefer the old waffles. That was really disappointing. This was my first visit since the changes. Won’t order any my waffles.
