The Diet Coke Intervention
I am writing this review as a dedicated Coke Zero fan, which is seemingly my constant downfall at this location. While the food order is usually fine, there is a persistent, frustrating, and almost comical issue with my drink: I always order Coke Zero, and I always receive a Diet Coke. I’m not sure if the drive-thru staff is running a secret “Diet Coke only” club, but it feels like they are actively trying to shove a Diet Coke down my throat every single visit. For any other Coke Zero loyalists out there, please double-check the lid of your drink before you leave the window. Consistency in the drink order is the only thing preventing a five-star review—please train staff to differentiate between the two!

This is my current favorite Mcdonald’s branch in the Marietta-Vienna-Parkersburg area. They adapt to any issues immediately and efficiently. The staff is very friendly even under pressure. They definitely need more recognition for their service. The food is also perfectly cooked, the multiple times I’ve been here, I’ve never had any problems with the food. The store is also very clean. So yeah, I appreciate this store overall.

I’m constantly getting awful food raw quarter pounder like 3 times me and my husband all just this year we ask for fresh fries with ex salt because they always old and cold and they were old and cold no salt any way, manager was let know i called her she acted like she cared and she definitely didn’t take it seriously. They replaced the order the second time it happend and I added a LG fry they gave me trash again. I’ve worked at a mcdonald’s before I know this is not how the quarter pounder should be it’s dropped when you order no reason that things done before I even get to windows. Horrible location, sat in line for 15min. The female that answered the speaker was rude, she had taken 4 other cars orders while I sat at other speaker waiting. If you cant multi task dont work fast food!!! Very disappointing.

I placed a mobile order to pickup. The fries we received were old and soggy. Instead of complaining, I turned around and went back through the drive through and ordered a basket of fries so I could be sure they were fresh. When I got home I opened the bag and yes the fries were fresh but they were unsalted and way undercooked. And instead of the workers salting the fries, just threw salt packets in the basket of fries.
I also ordered my sandwich plain. No onions pickles ketchup or tomato. They did not honor this at all. My sandwich has all of these items on it. I am extremely upset I have to find something else for dinner now. This location was completely empty when we arrived and half the staff was standing outside smoking.

The last 3 experiences have SUCKED! This WAS even a replacement meal on 2 of the Big Macs that my office had ordered and this time all THREE of the Big Macs we ordered had no cheese put on any of them! Our previous Big Macs were given to us with no lettuce on regular cheeseburger buns in the expensive Grinch Boxes because they apparently ran out of Big Mac buns and none of that was conveyed to us, and also one worker ordered a double filet o’ fish with extra tartar and received a SINGLE plain Filet O’ Fish! We are DONE! Our money will spend elsewhere, although I doubt anyone really gives a crap at this point! Its just so ridiculous!

These people are ALWAYS friendly. Doesn’t matter what time of day I go. I’ve been there twice and the staff are always cool, and the food is always hot. 10/10 for me which is apparently really difficult for almost every McDonald’s I’ve been to. I don’t eat it often so when I do, I want it to actually be edible. Give everyone a raise.

Food was absolutely disgusting. The inside of the restaurant had trash and spilled drinks all over the floor and they messed up our order (which is completely fine) when we went to the counter to tell them they just said oops and made us wait almost an hour for one cheeseburger. The workers were talking about my family in a derogatory way
