Had a great experience here. The chips and salsa were good, but the salsa was a little thin. The beans and rice were great. The chicken Taco and the chicken enchilada were very good. The service was friendly, and our server was kind and efficient. Nice place to visit if you are in the area.

Excellent food and excellent flight of margaritas! Our server appeared to be stressed out and very short with us during our visit. There was no follow-up after our entrees were served. We’ll be happy to give this restaurant a second chance!

My family has been going there for years. It’s always perfect. It was my granddaughters birthday. There were 4 adults and a child. The food was very disappointing, the beans were terrible. On this we all agreed. I had asked our waiter if they would sing happy birthday. He said “of course”. This went on for awhile. They kept saying they would sing, but never did.We were all disappointed. I will go there 1 more time to see if maybe the staff and cook were having a bad day, but if it doesn’t go back like it was, none of us will go there again.

Had a work dinner here and our mean was amazing. Margaritas tower, MYO margaritas, salsa variety, varieties of meals, and the service was perfect. So attentive, fun, and laughed with (and at) us. Loved every second.

We had a party of 5 and our experience was less than satisfying. We waited a long time to order then even longer for food and when food was delivered only have our party was served and had to wait over 10/ 15 minutes for the other half of our party to be served. The flour tortillas were aweful (used to be the best) and the carne asada was tough. I don’t know who is running this place anymore but definitely will not be returning. Use to be our favorite restaurants but will be finding a new one.

Manuel (Manny) is always spectacular! We come in every Friday just for him & even if he’s slammed busy we receive the best service with tons of laughs. He even teaches us Spanish! We are so grateful for him and will keep coming back.

Ok, this is our absolute favorite Mexican food in the Eugene/Springfield area! Staff was so kind, food was Uber-fresh and seasoned well. We ordered the Queso, Carne Asada, a tostada and some of their hand made tortillas! Sooo very delicious. This is a local jewel and we will tell our friends and return often!

We had an unpleasant experience at Ranchito Grill yesterday and almost walked out without ordering. They told me the change was made by the new owner, who isn’t as generous as the previous owner. I still don’t fully understand the new policy, but this is what happened. I went in for my birthday. Ranchito Grill’s website says there is a $10 discount on your birthday. My husband was with me, and we always buy one big meal and share it. When we told the waiter it was my birthday and we ordered one meal, he said we also had to buy a soft drink – which they sell for $5. I know from experience that their soft drinks are mostly ice and what they sell for $5 costs them less than 25 cents. I’m still not clear if the extra purchase was required because there were 2 people and one food order or if their birthday discount has changed and requires the purchase of a worthless drink. I asked if the drink was still required if my husband were to order his own meal, and I couldn’t get an answer. He indirectly said that it had to be a beverage and not a $5 food substitution because they make the most profit on the beverage. It’s not like I ordered the cheapest thing on the menu to get a free meal. I ordered something that was in the $20 range. I don’t know where the required beverage fits into the picture, but beware so you aren’t taken by surprise like I was.

Another problem I had recently was when I was there with a large group. No one was given a ticket. Instead, everyone had to go to the counter, say what they had ordered and pay there. People had either left a cash tip at the table or added it to their bill. Only later did they find out that a 20% tip had been added to their bill without their knowledge. The cashier even watched people add a tip to their bill and didn’t say anything. Almost everyone ended up paying a 40% tip because of the failure of the establishment to disclose their policy either in advance or at the register. Needless to say, that group will never go back to Ranchito Grill.
