Special thanks to Emani for her delightful and attentive nature as well as the Manager on duty for personally checking in on me and all the other customers in the dining area to ensure our dining experience was going well! Still my favorite location in the area and I look forward to my next visit!
The issue is, it was literally 12:05 on the dot. The individual had already been there when I walked in and seemed to be waiting for the manager to come from the back. From my perspective, he was not late at all.
I completely understand the importance of punctuality and holding people accountable. However, there are better ways to communicate expectations. You can be direct and professional without being loud or condescending — especially in front of customers. It created an awkward atmosphere and didn’t reflect the level of leadership I would expect.
I hope management considers approaching situations like this with more respect and discretion moving forward.
What stood out:
Warm Hospitality: The team greeted me with a smile, explained the menu clearly, and made ordering effortless.
Speed and Accuracy: My order was accurate and ready faster than expected, without sacrificing quality.
Food Quality: Chicken was juicy, flavorful, and consistently well-prepared. The waffle fries were perfectly crispy, and the sauce options were on point.
Cleanliness: The dining area was spotless, well-maintained, and comfortable for a quick bite or a longer visit.
Consistency: This location consistently delivers the familiar Chick-fil-A excellence I’ve come to expect—great taste, great service, every time.
Ambience: Bright, welcoming, and family-friendly. It’s easy to see the team takes pride in creating a positive, efficient dining experience.
If you’re in the DC area and craving reliable, delicious fast-casual chicken, this Chick-fil-A location is a standout choice. I left satisfied and impressed with the level of care from the team. Highly recommended!
Instead of acting like a professional manager Dashawnna was rude hostile and aggressive from the moment I pulled up. When I tried to address a simple issue she talked over me raised her voice and spoke to me in a disrespectful and condescending way. There was no attempt to listen no attempt to help and no attempt to resolve anything. She immediately chose to escalate the situation and treat me like I was a problem instead of a customer.
Being treated like this in the drive thru is completely humiliating and shocking. A manager should never speak to a customer the way Dashawnna spoke to me. Her behavior was unprofessional immature and totally unacceptable for someone in a leadership position.
Chick fil A is known for respect kindness and good customer service and Dashawnna represented NONE of that. Her attitude and behavior reflect extremely poorly on this location and the brand as a whole. If this is how management is allowed to treat customers then corporate needs to step in immediately. I left feeling disrespected angry and upset. No one deserves to be spoken to the way I was today. I will never return to this location and I strongly suggest others avoid it especially when Dashawnna is working. This was completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed
The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the restaurant’s hours are great—they’re open every day from 6 AM to 10 PM, except on Sundays. My only complaint is that the dining room can occasionally be a bit dirty, likely due to some customers not properly discarding their trash. Despite this, it’s still a pretty good Chick-fil-A and a convenient place to grab a meal.
I’ve had to come back multiple times because items were wrong or missing, and now I’m forced to check everything before I even pull away from the drive-thru window. Even on a simple visit, basic things like enough napkins for multiple sandwiches or requested condiments (like jelly) aren’t included unless I ask again and again.
Today was especially frustrating because I placed a mobile order, waited in the drive-thru, confirmed at the speaker, and then got to the window only to be told they didn’t have my order. Instead of resolving it quickly, they wasted time questioning whether the order was even placed.
What makes it worse is the management. When I’ve brought issues up in the past, it feels like they’re just trying to brush you off rather than actually address the bigger problem. And by “fix the problem,” I don’t just mean correcting the order in the moment—I mean taking accountability and preventing it from happening again: offering something to make it right (like a coupon or free item when the mistake is repeated), improving training, and adjusting their process so orders are actually checked before they’re handed out.
Great food, but the accuracy and customer service need serious improvement.
The manager then came out and explained that the tenders come pre-packaged, and they do not have control over their size. I pointed out that the tenders in my salad were significantly larger than the ones in my meal, but he essentially told me there was nothing he could do.
This is my third time visiting this location after 7 PM, and I’ve noticed a decline in both service and food quality during the evening hours. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend coming here at night—service and quality are much better in the morning and around midday for lunch.
