This is by far the best Italian in Utah we’ve tried so far. Every little bite takes you on a little trip to your own Italy. We got the lasagna which is like having a bite of your grandmothers cooking, hearty and full of cheese and love. Also the lobster squid ink pasta, which was balanced well with a light sauce and delicious thin cut mushrooms.
Even though the pizza is an entree we got it as an appetizer and I would recommend this is the way to go. It’s light, fluffy and packed full of flavors.
The tiramisu is delicious and a generous serving. DELICIOUS!!

We had such an incredible time celebrating my sisters 22nd birthday here! They were very accommodating to a large group and a baby. We brought our own cake and they kindly stored it in the fridge for us while we ordered and ate our food. The food was incredible but a lot smaller of a potion than I had thought. Still incredible taste, just felt like I had to order a little more to compensate for the amount of food. Which led to a more expensive cost. With a larger group they have an automatic 20% gratuity fee, not a fan of automatic gratuity when I normally tip very well. But our waitress was incredible so it was well deserved. Food tasted authentic and smooth.

What a great time we had at Stoneground. We have told so many people to stop by since dining here. The atmosphere is top-notch, and alongside that is the excellent service. The food is high quality and all tastes great. I would recommend the bread service and whatever they have for dessert when you visit. For our entrée, we thoroughly enjoyed the squid ink pasta.

This place used to have the most amazing lasagna on the planet. It’s been a year since I’ve been back last nights lasagna was a disappointment. It was all just cheese and noodles, no meat at all. It was like I was eating a vegetarian lasagna. The beet salad was good even though focaccia bread was a let down. It used to come out all puffed up and freshly cut at the table. Last night came out flat and precut. When you lose what made you special to begin with, your restaurant becomes like everybody else’s.

Tristan (no relation) is the best bartender I’ve had in Utah in my 8 months living here. Very knowledgeable and actually cared about the craft. Other places the drinks feel watered down but he had a way of adding flavors that the notes in the drink make up for Utah’s weird laws
