Got two ice creams. A shake and a concrete….my concrete was the consistency of “cereal milk” i questioned it and they told me it’s normal when the custard sits out….we were the only vehicle in the drive through! Why would it have set out?!? I tried to explain to them it was a shake…it even had whipped cream and a cherry on it…..14$ for two desserts that both tasted like milk off a bowl of cereal!! Now I know why the DQ line was so long!!! Should have just waited and at least gotten decent ice cream! Won’t be going again! I highly recommend DQ over Freddy’s in Kearney! Terrible service and even worse “ice cream” it was milk!!!!!

Our food was very good but we couldn’t hear ourselves think with the music blaring!! We asked about turning it down and they were very nice but said that’s as low as it would go. Please for the love of all that’s holy turn it off!! The person taking my order couldn’t hear me and I couldn’t even talk to my grandkids while we ate.

Freddy’s in my opinion is the top of fast food restraunts. Their food is unhealthy in my opinion but that doesn’t stop me from going ever so often. I love their shoestring fries and their burgers are great. I really like the california burger and that is my go to order. This location has a great big lobby and the staff are amazing. They are constantly really friendly which is amazing. The food quality is probably the best out of all the locations I have been to. Overall, amazing location and I look forward to my next visit.

Way too salty, the food was awful & we’re never coming back.
I also ordered cheese curds on one of our two meals but got salty fries instead, before picking up our meal I told the young fry cook the mistake but he didn’t care to fix it.

I’ve been meaning to try a Freddy’s on one of my trips out west and finally did. The burgers are all double smash burgers, the flavor is delicious. The shoestring fries are just ok, we added cheese and there was a generous portion although they were barely warm. The ordering process was the most frustrating. I wanted a malt and kept getting offered a shake so that’s what I got. The shake was good with real berries in it. I’m not a big fan of double portions and would have liked any burger option in a single. The menu isn’t straightforward with options as I would have liked the shake/malt flavor options next to them, instead there is a weird1,2,3 option on the bottom that makes it look like only concrete mixer choices. I stared at that menu and couldn’t find a way for 2 people to eat lunch for under $30. This is fast food with table service prices. There is no “value” option unless you want a kid’s meal.

I don’t often, if ever, rate a fast food place. It’s Freddy’s you know what you’re getting. Really good food, great smashed burgers; and if fresh, amazing fries.
I write this review because the staff is always so nice. I believe he’s the manager, but every time we come in the guy with the long beard is always so nice. Above and beyond typical food service/fast food. The food is good, everyone knows that. This manager and the rest of the staff here are what make people want to come back. The food is a bonus.
