The Maryland crab soup should have been listed as a vegetable soup. The scallops, however, redeemed our meal they were fantastic!

Had the soft Crab sandwich. Delicious! The sample were great too. Love this place. If I didnt live 1000 miles away, I’d be here weekly. Seriously. This is probably 4th time visiting Shrimp Boat. Well worth it. The crabs were next table over.

Got there just in time for happy hour. Half off shrimp dishes and bar drinks. Steamed shrimp was amazing, seasoned heavy and perfectly cooked. Crab cake had a few shells but was tasty. Mussels could use more seasoning, but were cooked well. Will be coming back

We ended to going to The Shrimp Boat. We were sat immediately, our server went out of his way to find a colored marker for our son to draw with. He got the quarter pound smash burger with fries (it was cheaper than the kids burger)
I got the Chesapeake burger and my wife got the crab cake sandwich with hush puppies.
The burgers were a good size, the crab dip on my burger was very good. And my wife liked her crab cake sandwich. But I have to tell you the fries are delicious and super fresh! Everything came out fresh and hot.
Our server could have been a little better about telling us the specials and checking in on us but it was the end of the night and I’m sure he was ready to be done for the night.

The seating area had fans and no AC. Flies and gnats in dining area due to door air dams not working. We were seated and got our drinks. Wife’s had a gnat in it on top of the ice. Mine had a small black hair in it. Got waiter to get us new drinks and ordered a shrimp app of a half pound. Shrimp was very good but then ordered a Crab cake with scallops combo and wife got crab cake and snow crab combo. Food came out and her crab cake then had another long black hair in it! Can’t make this up, it was cooked into it! I’m terrified that within the next 24hrs the shrimp is going to give me food poisoning because if they can’t control cleanliness to that extent then what does the kitchen look like? Told him we weren’t eating the combos and to get us the bill for the shrimp we ate and left without touching them because the place is gross. Hands down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. One hair is one thing, but two and a gnat in the drink is a red flag for a health department audit in my opinion! Drew arrows so you can see it’s actually in the crab cake and not on it! Gross! I can’t believe they still billed us for the shrimp and drinks after this fiasco honestly

Great outdoor seating area that is dog friendly. Food is excellent and fresh. Typical seafood prices. Everything we had was so good. Got the shrimp tacos the shrimp was fresh and the green sauce on top was great. You can get them spicy or regular like I did. Got the Eastern Shore platter and the breading on the fish and shrimp was crispy and unique. The waitress said even the breading is made in house. They also start you off with two free steamed shrimp. Even the sides were good. I was craving hush puppies and they hit the spot. Great place we will be back.

I remember this location when it was small. There has been a huge addition and expanded menu. The Service was wonderful. It’s not a menu for everyone, be prepared to have less options. It is the Shrimp Boat but know if you have a group and there is anyone who doesn’t eat Seafood it will be problematic. Let me clarify, as a Vegetarian who eats out with Seafood loving family there was Salad, a Salad. All fried items are fried in a fryer with the same oil as seafood/meat products that I’m allergic to. Lovely atmosphere!
