If you’re looking for an incredible Ethiopian restaurant in Dallas, this is the place! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed like family. The owner is so kind and thoughtful — he personally took the time to explain the dishes, ingredients, and traditions behind the food, which made the experience even more special.
The food is absolutely outstanding. The homemade garlic sauce is amazing — you can taste how fresh it is, made from high-quality vegetables and ingredients. Every dish was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully prepared. The variety on the menu is impressive, with something delicious for everyone, whether you’re new to Ethiopian cuisine or already love it.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and you truly feel comfortable dining in. Anyone from anywhere would feel welcomed here. If you’re in Dallas and craving authentic, fresh, and unforgettable Ethiopian food, I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back!

First try on Ethiopian cuisine and I’m glad it was at Queen of Sheba. Wonderful people with exceptional service, oh and Joe! What a guy he is! He educated me on the history of Queen of Sheba and on Ethiopian coffee, which you have to try btw. all in all, I am pleased and looking forward to being back

Great food, great options and service. Also offer gluten free inijera bread. It’s very rare to find an Ethiopian place in Dallas that is gluten free friendly. Highly recommend.

We loved coming here! Food was fresh and delicious. The vegan options weee impressive and savory!

Love this place, it’s so enchanting and can’t wait to be back. We had the pleasure of speaking with Joe and even got to say hi to his mom, both of which are so wonderful, knowledgeable and lovely to meet. Wish I had visited sooner! Amazing food! Can’t wait to bring some friends also 🙂

We went there for dinner and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere is soooooo beautiful—when you walk inside, it instantly feels like you’ve stepped into a palace, almost like being part of a royal family. The space feels warm, elegant, and welcoming.
The food is excellent, with plenty of options, including great vegan choices. The desserts are truly special—fit for a queen—and there’s a wide selection of alcoholic drinks as well as hot beverages.
What really stood out the most was the customer service. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine smiles, and the staff made us feel like family throughout the entire visit. Truly a wonderful dining experience. One thing I want say I love miss Elsa so great lady .

I’ve been to several Ethiopian restaurants, & this is by far my favorite! The food was amazing as well as the service.

I was impressed by the crunchy injera chips that came with the spicy chick pea dip. The kitfo was amazing as well! Our friend got the lamb & the meat fell off the bone sooo clean.

Another thing I appreciated was how thorough the menu was. It really shows that they made efforts in explaining what Ethiopian food is to the guests.

Definitely will be back!

This is a very enjoyable experience. The food is always so good and the service is very friendly. They have mocktails and cocktails. They have wonderful options for gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes. You have not lived life properly until you have had the injera chips with a mild spicy dip. They have literally something for everyone, and all is well made.

In Dallas for three nights and our first dinner out was spectacular. The service was friendly, prompt and attentive. The food was flavorful and so delicious.

I love that they have a dedicated vegan menu in addition to their meat offerings. Didn’t have to ask many questions because the menu was so clearly informative.

10/10 experience. Will definitely come back.

We wanted to like this place so bad. The service was absolutely exceptional. We went on a slow night and we couldn’t bear telling the staff the food was terrible. My garum was cool and watery, tibs tasted like they were made with heavy reliance on canned ingredients, other dishes were just *off*. The injeera was disentigrating so that was difficult as well.

The atmosphere was beautiful. The bathrooms were old, but spotless. Everything about the place was great except the food—this one time, I suppose—based on the reviews.

The music was too loud and clashed with the atmosphere, which was, again, lovely.

May return in the future, maybe it was a bad day.
