Amazingly, this place is so cute that you sort of wish the line wouldn’t move as fast as it does! The staff are clearly scooping professionals who are able to simultaneously give samples, answer questions and assemble whatever choices people make quickly and well. There are so many things to look at in this place, beginning with the little running train around the top of the shop to interesting candy choices; but the star attraction are the many choices of ice cream and sherbet. There is something for everyone from the chocolate lover to the caramel craver to the fruit fanatic. No wonder this place draws as many locals as tourists!

I had a double dip of Strawberry and Mint Chocolate Chip. Big chunks of strawberries and a lot of large pieces of chocolate. Very friendly staff and a nice location right across the street from The Blue Harbor Resort.

I’ve been wanting to try South Pier out for a while now and finally had a chance to! The inside and outside of the Parlor is very scenic, well kept, clean and has a fun atmosphere to it. Service was great, patient and very attentive. The tripple scoop sundae and fudge i got it were also very tasty for a variety of reasons and made me glad I got both! No complaints, South Pier is a great local Ice Cream place and I can see myself going back someday!

Delicious ice cream nachos! Lots of fun flavors of ice cream to choose from. The parlor felt very nostalgic and smelled so good! My daughter loved the little train that ran around by the ceiling. Very fun and a great atmosphere!
