Spent a month in Missoula and didn’t miss a Monday night with the Bluegrass Hollers! Enjoyed every meal we tried, including breakfasts! Great bar with tasty local crafts plus excellent cocktails. Friendly service although they get jammed up sometimes, but it’s a great place to be patient and enjoy life! Outdoor patio is also popular.
We’d be regulars if residents for the food, beverages, vibe and music!
Old Post is great to lean on.

Went for supper and bluegrass. Had a smash burger and it was good, but was not assembled the best. Pickles were piled and not spread out. It quickly fell apart and finished with fork. Most of seating was on high tables, which is not that comfortable in my opinion. Atmosphere was great and band was fun. Would recommend a visit!

On a scale of 1-5, this place is a six! Friendly staff, great food and beer selections. Plus a live jazz band on Thursday nights! Had the meatloaf, chicken gumbo, and chicken bacon swiss. The meatloaf had a perfect crust, the gumbo was tender and not salty (an easy thing to do for novice chefs); plus the okra I swear was fresh. As for the burger, this was the first time I saw a side salad that was larger and more delicious– a good thing considering the burger was very tasty.

The jazz band was the icing on the cake! Their playing would have been at home in New Orleans.

Went with my daughter. We sat at the bar. I had a Negroni. Really well prepared.
I had the fish tacos. One of the best I had. My daughter had the Creole shrimp dip.
For dessert we shared the Ricotta beignets. That was décadent.
Good prices.
Overall a very good experience.

Brian was a fantastic host and The Old Post was a favorite stop! We got the loaded biscuits and gravy and a single og cake and it was the perfect meal for two. Vibes were amazing and we will definitely be adding this to our list of places to visit again!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I got the breakfast bacon sandwich and lemon curd pancakes. Everything was fresh, delicious and pretty dang close to perfection. The restaurant its self has a great atmosphere and then the staff are super friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Really cool bar and the food was amazing. Staff was super friendly and service was fast. Drink were also really good! We got a burger and a chicken sandwich that was amazing. They also have this bacon Carmel sweet potato fries that were really good. Little on the sweet side so maybe get this as an appetizer for everyone to share because as a side it’s a little much but it’s very good. If you’re in town looking for a place to soot and get some good drinks and good food I would check this place out.

Had the chicken fried steak, wings, Italian sodas, and a Dirty Girl adult milkshake. Everything was so good! Best food we’ve had! There was live music. Great atmosphere. Will definitely go again! Didn’t take a lot of photos. Just enjoyed!

Went in for an early dinner only to find they don’t start serving entrees until 5. So we ordered drinks and a salad to start. The salad was good but the greens were less than fresh. At 5 they were ready to take our dinner order only to find that the dish I wanted was off the menu for the night… mind you there are only 4 or 5 entrees to begin with. Nothing else was jumping out at me so I ordered a fried Brussel sprouts appetizer which while tasty were not crunchy in the least bit as one would expect with fried food. The other dish ordered was a pulled pork sandwich which was nothing special and a piled up mess to eat. So $100 later we were out of there without even an entree. Service was good and friendly.

Was a little bummed out by my experience. Place seemed like a great spot to grab some breakfast and hair of the dog beverages, but unfortunately staffing was an issue. Took over 30 minutes to get my food, and the poor bartender was the only one serving a packed house! Never even had an opportunity to ask for a coffee. Unfortunately, the food was not quite worth the wait.
Management/ownership set the place up for failure on this visit.
Absolutely will give it another shot, but must say I am a bit disappointed after my initial hopes.
