We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. As breakfast chains go, First Watch exemplifies what they should be. Between a busy parking lot and crowded front room we had the impression things would be slow moving here, yet we were wrong both times. Parking was quick and easy to find and despite the busy interior we were seated very quickly. The first thing that stands out about First Watch is the very clean and homey setting. It feels much more polished than an IHOP or Denny’s yet the price of things are just about the same. Once we were seated we ordered relatively quickly and our waitress was very attentive despite having a busy section.
We ordered a few things and every single thing was good. From the Parma skillet hash, which was extremely savory and well seasoned, to the French Toast, thick and sweet with a delicate flavor; it was all fantastic. We also ordered a pancake and it was huge for a single stack and it was good too, light and fluffy; the bacon it came with was also nice, salty and crisped nicely. The only thing we could ding the food for was our chocolate milk for being very much on the milky side, and guess what? They apologized profusely for it and brought us extra chocolate syrup to fix it. The service here was great, adding to an already fantastic meal. Side note: the mint mocha iced latte they have on the seasonal menu was also great, get it while you can!
Paying the check was also somehow a far better experience than every other chain. You can pay up front or you can pay by QR code, which we know a few other places offer but the software they have here feels much, much quicker. From receiving the check to paying took (maybe) a minute. And that’s the thing about First Watch, everything just works. The food, the service, the small intangible things that most other places don’t care for; all of it was done well and done right. We wish we had one across the street from us, but we’ll settle for a short drive that we know we will happily make to eat here again.

What a great brunch experience at First Watch! We got sat down immediately, service from Sahu was Amazing!! We ordered the seasonal Maple Croissant Sammy, side of potatoes with another side of Banana granola almond crunch pancake was Delicious. Gees the food and service was exceptional. Thank you so much we will continue to come. We visit the Round Rock location very often. This location is top notch.

The staff in the food are phenomenal here. It’s always so packed and I can see why it’s one of my favorite spots to get breakfast food. If you haven’t tried this place I highly recommend that you do and if you’re with a large group of people, maybe make a reservation beforehand if possible.

Great service, and great food! We went close to 11 so it was a little busy and there was a wait for a table. We waited for maybe 20 minutes, and were then promptly seated. First time coming here and will be back! We also enjoyed their coffee and looking forward to trying their other dishes.

I had the iced coffee ans the Ham & Gruyere omelet with potatoes for side. My first time coming here it was pretty good and filling for the portions. I think it was fairly priced. Pretty cozy vibes not too loud. The attentive service helped me feel comfortable in ordering and not rushed.

I loved this place until today. We got a late start because it’s my birthday; we showed up at 2:05. I wish they had just turned us away. The staff was clearly anxious to get out of there. They forgot the cheese on my order, so I asked them nicely to add some. They took my whole plate away for a long time, completely re-made my order, and it still never seemed right. Some guy brought me a wet plate when I asked for one. Then they were cleaning very loudly all around us. Our waitress, Michaela, was nice; she tried. But due to the rest of the staff today, I don’t see us ever going back to this location unless the management changes. Even if my food had been the way I remember it, we just had too bad of an experience overall. If they want to leave at 3:00, then they need to change the closing time to 2:00. Trying to eat and visit with people while the staff is cleaning around you is just unacceptable.

In the past I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed the food. Today the experience was very different. I ordered the Avocado Chicken Chop salad. Instead of fresh corn and tortilla strips the salad came with CORN NUTS – hard salty nasty corn nuts! That totally ruined what should have been a delicious salad. Very disappointing.

It has been a while since my last time I visited First Watch so I stopped today to get breakfast, turned out to be a great idea!
I ordered the Traditional Breakfast but this time I upgraded the potatoes to the Million Bacon potatoes and oh boy…they’re amazingly delicious! Totally new flavor and they’re now my favorite dish.
Everything was perfect, meal, coffee, fresh squeezed OJ and the server (Thank you Chloe!). I was having a gloomy morning and this experience changed everything 😀
