Sometimes restaurants that are part of hotels can be disappointing, the Tap Room at Hollander Hotel is NOT one of those cases.
We stopped here for breakfast one Sunday and it was great! The decor and vibe are great with plenty of seating both inside and on their patio.
They have a great selection of food and a bunch of specialty drinks and probably 15 beers on tap. The prices, especially for downtown St. Pete, we’re very reasonable and the staff were very friendly!
If you’re going late morning, keep in mind that they close for an hour or so between breakfast and lunch.

We stopped in to have a couple of old fashions and some appetizers before going over to the Palladium. The atmosphere was beautiful. The weather outside was gorgeous which allowed us to sit outside. The server was also amazing!

I had the turkey club & my husband had the Clucker. My sandwich was great. The bacon was perfect,real bacon not that microwaved,paper bacon.The lettuce & tomato fresh & crisp. My husband said his was great too I had a bite delicious. Our waitress made a couple errors though. His chicken sandwich was supposed to be buffalo & it was not & we waited a pretty long time for new beers. The ambiance of the place is very cool. We sat out on the patio it was nice.

It’s a downtown rarity to find consistently good service and food quality, and the Tap Room has both. I’ve been eating here regularly for over a year and never tried a dish I didn’t enjoy, and never had anything but amazing service at the bar, pool, or a table. The team here- servers, bartenders, and managers are all wonderful. Any time I want to book a cabana, I just call ahead and the manager sets the reservation up and the bar staff takes great care of me and my friends. When out of towners ask me for a restaurant recommendation, this is always the first spot I suggest. Thank you, Hollander for all the fun memories. Can’t wait for it to warm up so I can be back reading by the pool soon ❤️

I can’t even begin to describe how incredible this hidden gem is! From the moment you walk in, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that your experience is nothing short of fantastic. Shoutout to Vinny for being exceptionally attentive, but honestly, every team member brought their A-game to make the stay memorable.
The food is deliciously casual, and the drinks? Absolutely wonderful! The rooms have such charming character, though I do recommend packing travel-size toiletries since the bathrooms are a bit cozy-tiny.
Now, let’s talk amenities! The pool is a slice of paradise, the outdoor bar is perfect for unwinding, and the live music adds such a vibrant atmosphere. Plus, the awesome front porch and delightful café mean you really don’t have to leave the property to have a great time!

Rachel, my server, was awesome! I loved eating out on the covered patio. Here’s where they can improve:
1) Food was mediocre. I ordered their avocado toast. I’ve had avocado toast in many places. It was tasteless and the bread was either stale or over toasted- not sure, but it was hard to cut through the crust, even with a steak knife. The salt shaker hardly dispensed salt. For avocado toast, I recommend Craft Cafe, about 5-minute drive away.
2) Seating: the outdoor tables and chairs are uncomfortable for several reasons. First, the tables used for 4-person seating are too tall and have wrought iron bars running where you can easily hurt your knees. Plus, the tables are a bit too tall. The design of these tables suggests to me that they’re not meant for dining. The photo shows the uncomfortable iron bars that impede sitting comfortably at the 4-person tables.
3) They were slow to take my order although there were several empty tables. Had several servers pass by without offering coffee or water or taking my order. Not sure why. Once I had a server (Rachel), she was awesome!

Stayed here on an overnight, hadn’t been in 10 years, and I had forgotten the quaint atmosphere of this place. Combined with good food and great friendly service, it’s a great stop in St Petersburg whether you stay at the hotel or not. Some good daily specials, for both food and drink. Again came face to face with NAM (which stands for Not A Moose, from what I overheard! He’s a caribou!) who overlooks the bar. This place is worth a visit if you’ve never been here!

We had 15 people for lunch, they couldn’t accommodate us inside or on the porch! They made us sit outside at the pool! Myself and 14 other seniors 69 to 80years old . The server did the best he could do but he was the only server and bartender for us and everyone that was at the pool! Some of the food came out very quickly, our appetizer came out with our lunch! Some people’s food didn’t come out until almost everyone were done! To me the customer service at this venue sucks!! There is room at this restaurant for that many people to sit together inside! This was mine and another person’s Birthday! Would love to say we would be back or suggest place but probably not!

Allowed us to split the appetizers and the meal, without acting all crazy. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Well lit and not noisy in the restaurant. Attentive staff. Clean bathroom. Old phone booth inside as decor, but you can’t sit on the seat.
