Great customer service! Give portions of food! I ordered the Pulled Pork Plate with a Half-Order of Susie Q’s and Mac and Cheese. The meal came out quickly. Very flavorful barbecue. I would definitely order this meal again! Overall, the experience was wonderful and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this location!

3/5.
Service was exceptional.
We loved the strawberry lemonade and my husband said the beer was great.
The hillbilly queso appetizer was really good, but congealed quickly.
The ribs and brisket seemed to have been a day or two old. A little dry and underwhelming, and honestly pretty bland. Sides were also about a 3/5, not great but not bad either (Mac and cheese, potato salad and coleslaw).
Will say the curly fries were delicious but came out in a brick like nobody shook the fryer while they were cooking. I assume it was on purpose but pulling them apart was a messy ordeal.

Great flavor and probably one of the best spots to pick up some pie. Mild one star off because I got a head buzz a few bites in, so these probably run on the sugary side – do NOT let that deter you from having these! They are NOT overwhelmingly sweet, and I say that as someone that is picky. The flavors and ratios are well done. Considering the vast variety of pie flavors they have, this place deserves recognition!!!!

My wife and I enjoyed our experience at Big R’s BBQ. She loved her BLT with Susie Q’s. I prefer meat over lettuce and tomatoes so I ordered The Perfect Pig, with bacon, ham, and pulled pork as well as Mrs. R’s Baked Beans. See? It sure beats lettuce and tomatoes! Of course, I made a perfect pig of myself. Oink!

Should have read the reviews first…My mom came to town and wanted to go here because she saw it on “the best bite” on the food network. We were so pumped to go and try it. It was terrible.we started with the sample platter as an appetizer. The batter had zero flavor. My ribs and pulled pork were so dry. The fries were undercooked greasy limp potatoes. The Mac n cheese was super salty my son wouldn’t even eat it. The best thing about my meal was the Pepsi. My mom was so disappointed that we wasted $80 on that meal. Will not return.

We haven’t been here in quite awhile but it used to be my favorite place. We quit coming because food had changed so much from original owners. O-rings have never been the same since they left. The ones we had tonight tasted of burnt grease (1/2 of the tower was pretty burnt). Anyhow tonight’s food was sub par and honestly we just won’t be back. I posted the pictures of our food and to tell you the truth only thing I didn’t try was my husband’s ribs but he had not complaints. First set of rolls were stale, chicken fried steak was not good at all and the curly fries had little pieces of old fries piled up and inside my daughters curly fries (literally little black old potatoes they went ahead and deep fried). The large order of them was something I wouldn’t even consider curly fries at all. But our waiter was sweet and kind. He got a good tip of course despite the food. We came to see if it got any better and unfortunately we are disappointed.

Stopped in for a late lunch as my wife had eaten here a week before with our son in law, his wife, and our son. She loved it then and wanted to treat me. Man, I love my wife as she knows exactly the food I mostly enjoy.
My wife insisted the shrooms would be the appetizer, as she had these a week ago. And according to her she barely got any as the kids snapped them up. So we ordered the breaded shrooms and they were remarkably delicious. Hot they were and the batter was perfect for these dudes. Both of us ordered tea, mine sweet and hers unsweetened. I must say the tea was perfect on both accounts. The right strength and sweetness. Weak tea is a crime.
We both ordered the brisket sandwich. My bride got baked beans as her side. I got the rings with an upcharge for them [You can see the pic taken as to what we had ordered]. Our waiter made sure we knew in advance about the upcharge and we were cool with it. The sandwiches came out rather quickly as well as our sides. Impressive that the overall wait was very minimal.
The sandwiches….I’d give a high 4⭐ for sure. The brisket was flavorful and nicely chopped which made for a great mouth feel. I think if the sandwich was stacked with even more brisket (maybe a small price increase as I know meat isn’t cheap and neither is the work needed to make it delicious) would put it at a 5⭐. I’m not complaining though. The buns were fresh and nicely toasted. The onion rings….WOW. I gotta say the only other rings that I really enjoy are from a place in OKC/Edmond called JOHNNIE’S. The rings at BIG R were bangin’ and a lot of them. Nice and thick with ranch on the side. Excellent rings indeed. Overall the food was off the hook and fan-taste-ic!
Our waiter was courteous and checked on us regularly. Not so much that it was intrusive. A young guy that could be putting himself through college. Very informative when I asked about the smokers and length of time needed for the brisket and other proteins. He offered dessert but sadly we had to pass as both my wife and I were stuffed. Perhaps next time.
Thank you BIG R’s for a great late lunch meal. You can bet we’ll be back to try the other menu items.

Very pleasant small town country vibe. Decent food at lunchtime and friendly service. Small venue, with entertaining decor. Menu is fairly standard for BBQ, and pie selection can be larger than expected, and seems quite popular. There is a small bar in the dining area, and a separate larger group area for additional overflow as well. Conveniently located near main street hot spots. Fried food (onion rings) were good as well, especially if order slightly more crispy. Walked away very full and satisfied. Worth a stop if looking for an alternative lunch or dinner option.

Still an AMAZING place to eat! Worth the drive if you are a foodie! GIANT Chicken Fried Steak. Great onion rings, smoked turkey, strawberry cheesecake pie, really nothing was bad all worth the dollar! Outstanding service from “Lacy” – plan to spend because you will want all the things from appetizers to dessert! Save room take a box or two home! lol

Had high expectations but was severely disappointed. Food was bland, unseasoned, and extremely overpriced. My gf and I had the sampler appetizer, 2 meat plate, pulled pork plate, with 1 soft drink. $65 with tip for food that was flavorless. Sampler onion rings were doughy and bland, fried broccoli and mushrooms were the same. Neither of us even finished our food and certainly didn’t take it home. Was going to get pie as well, but after that food we decided against it. Cool atmosphere and staff was friendly but inattentive and it wasn’t overly busy.
