My first time visiting. I’m brutally honest. So here ya go.

Hostess – super friendly but not very confident

Waitress – forgot to get her name but will call to find out & come back to it – she was wearing glasses and seemed more experienced. She does her job VERY well, attentive, sweet, not overly friendly or invasive. Got things for us we didn’t ask for but she noticed during our visit and as we were packing our to go stuff.

Manager – didn’t stop by to check out us but younger gentleman with facial hair. Not a necessity but always nice to see them doing floor walks checking on guests. (See below as to why he may have been tied up)

Wait staff – super helpful (I spilled my drink in parking lot) came back inside to throw away and he immediately offered a replacement (younger guy with curlyish hybrid mullet). Spoke to 2 younger guys briefly – very friendly and welcoming.

When we pulled into the parking lot there were 3 police officers in the parking lot, I spoke to the guy that owned the truck they were there for (12/27/25 at 2pm) – his truck was broken into in broad daylight while he and his lady were eating. I hope the restaurant has surveillance footage and can help the police. No one informed the customers eating there to 1. Tell them to check their car to see if it had been broken into as well 2. Give them the opportunity to lock their items more securely etc. 3. Just keep them informed as to what’s going on so they’re not alarmed.
I was hesitant to even eat there after their presence but decided to ask instead of leaving. Suggestion if property owner allows – build a black metal or steel fence around property as a deterrent to theft.

Onto the food.

Chicken and waffles with hash browns – amazing flavor quality and taste. Perfect ratios and very fresh.

Over medium eggs – very very runny after cutting into them – very over easy but still good taste. Chef rushed through our order or doesn’t have proper egg training.

French toast – very light and fluffy but very filling. Super delicious and cooked to near perfection. Super pleasant.

My daughter got the breakfast quesadillas – she loved them (wouldn’t let me take a photo) lol.

Overall I would go again – I would just suggest be weary if a truck owner on parking near feeder/hwy. Trucks are easy quick targets for break ins. Could also be due to holidays and people are taking advantage of the timing.

We ordered a Pork Chop plate which was below average no seasoning or flavor, the Hashbrowns “loaded” were the best part of the plate. The Brisket Scramble was ok, once again not much flavor. Last but not least, the Churro Donuts were the stars of the show. They were fresh, warm, and soft definitely recommend the donuts as the starter. SN; I like the fact we can “Drink” during breakfast.

Food and service excellent! Coffee very good w choices of dreamers and sweetener types. Portions very generous. FULL BAR! With seating. Only negative a little noisey. It is a little high end I feel on the expensive side, but then all restaurants are now adays. $20-25 per person ( no alcohol).

It was my first time here, very nice and friendly faces. Had to wait a tad bit for waitress to make her rounds but was understandable due to the large crowd. Food was great but wish I would’ve requested more chips sooner overall great experience.

Food was decent but they really don’t know how to poach eggs which is strange for a place that has several different kinds of Benedicts. My classic didn’t come with the Canadian Bacon, it’s thin deli ham, and the ham looked kinda gray.
They also charge too much to add onions and jalapenos to the hash brown casserole, and the onions are the gross pickled kind which they don’t even mention.

Service was great and the restaurant is cute.

Stopped by Toasted Yolk to take a quick snack and rest on a long roadtrip. I honestly expected just another “hip” soulless chain restaurant. Oh boy, was I wrong. My partner had to take a few meetings for work and so he sat in a booth, and I alone at the bar.

The bartender Tori was exactly who I needed in the moment. Friendly, skilled, and not overbearing, I was able to rest after a stressful drive and just bask in the presence of a friendly space. She offered some kind words and little stories from her life and made me excellent drinks. The staff was overall very friendly and professional, and made me feel right at home in a brand new place. I have been a restaurant manager for years and the vibe of Toasted Yolk is exactly what managers should strive for- friendly, safe, welcoming.

The food was wonderful. The ambient volume was perfect (music and other patrons.) Everything was clean, well lit, and well maintained.

I am looking forward to coming back here on my journey home. What an excellent little spot!!

Tried to visit again and got the brisket tacos, they tasted like corned beef more than brisket and the tortillas were so tough. Forgot to get a pic.

The iced caramel macchiato was good.

The service was so terrible!! She never checked on us, she wouldn’t come back to bring our ticket. Our food took so long to come out too. It was still loud in there also.

It’s so loud in here. Nothing to absorb screaming toddler sounds that ruin the ambiance of brunch and mimosas. Geez.

The food was great! The bacon is so good, perfectly cooked, and a little sweet. The sausage I was first brought I didn’t try but looked like frozen sausage patties so I asked to change out to bacon. The hash brown casserole is tasty. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the toast was crunchy and buttery.

She was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the whole experience even better. Great food and great service — I’ll definitely be coming back!
