I Paid $20 for a large pepperoni.
The Pizza wasn’t objectively horrible but definitely not worth it for the price point.
The crust had the consistency of a frozen bake at home pizza you’d get from a grocery store even though you see them hand tossing it right in front of you. The pepperoni itself tasted low quality and the spacing on the pizza was lazy. I hate to say it since I paid $20 for the pie but dominos and little Caesar’s have better quality control. Only redeeming factor was the dye free made in house sauce.
Service was good and the wings were solid.
If I could do it over again I would definitely go to dominos instead and get 3 quality, reliable pizzas for the same price. Sorry Johnny Brusco’s but y’all really need to get your crust right and up your quality control before you can justify charging $20 for a 1 topping pizza
Their sauce was different,.tangy almost like tomato paste and lightly spiced. Not terrible, just not good
The sausage had a bitter off taste, almost as if freezer burned. The garlic knots were literally swimming in so much garlic they were soggy by the time I got home. The crust was soft and foldable as you would expect a NY style pizza to be.
I ended up throwing most of my order out, as the off taste permeated the entire pie. I was so much hoping to find a new go to place for a great tasting get what you pay for pizza, sadly it wasn’t Johnny Brusco’s.
