This place was an unexpected gem! Traveling for business through the area and decided to stop here for a quick bite. It was SO good we came back the second night.

We discovered this place 6 years ago when we were outta power with 5 kids. The staff there are phenomenal and the owner we just love her. The food is almost always on point and we love the specials. The lemonade and the buffalo chicken poutine was my go to with this pregnancy. Today we will be bringing our baby there for the first time. This will be the 3rd Carte baby to be going there as a newborn. Seems dumb to some but the owner knows us by face and by the end of the season the staff know our orders. We love it!

Sooooo many different flavors, combinations and varieties to choose from! I had my heart set on one, then as I stepped closer, I changed my mind, then changed my mind again. When I got to the front, I ended up finally deciding on Blackberry Oreo! It was divine! We also ordered the fish sandwich and chicken fingers with french fries. The food was good. It was nice to finally sit outside and take in the sun! This is a cool place to stop located right on route 11 in Malone! It has that old school, Laverne and Shirley, happy days diner vibe.

The food here has always been phenomenal, basically everything I’ve tried has been satisfying, and the prices are actually REALLY fair. Compared to a lot of other restaurants, the menu is more diverse and cheap all around, which makes it a favorite of mine.
They’ve got specials every day for both their lunches/dinners and their desserts, so there’s always something new! Can’t recommend this place enough, love going there. One of the few places I even eat out on my own

We’re locals in Malone and regulars at Bokie’s Drive Thru — it’s one of our family’s favorite spots, especially with the kids. The food is always delicious and freshly made, the ice cream servings are generous, and the whole place has that classic small-town drive-in charm you can’t find anywhere else.
The staff is friendly and fast, even when the line stretches around the lot on summer evenings. There’s just something about Bokie’s — the great food, the community feel, the sound of kids laughing at the picnic tables — that makes it a true Malone tradition.
Our only wish? That it stayed open all year long! We miss it every winter and count down the days until it opens again in the spring.
If you’re ever in Malone, do yourself a favor and stop at Bokie’s — it’s a North Country staple.
