The lunch menu advertised guacamole salad with the enchiladas poblanas, but when my food didn’t have it, the server said, “It’s only on the menu version.”
“But I ordered it off the lunch menu? It even says it right here,” and I showed her where it said it on the *lunch* menu.
“Yes, but no.”
So it wasn’t a mistake? They fully know it was falsely advertised it on the menu, but they still refused to honor it? That’s never happened before. Good food, but not coming back.

Danny’s restaurant will always be a one of kind restaurant in my community. So the food will always be top marks! My favorite dish mornings and evenings I mean they have breakfast all day is the good old eggs, bacon, and what ever sides you want. But they they have so many dishes to choose from so for lunch or dinner I recommend the diet dish platter. But overall the atmosphere is great many Danny’s have their own theme so each one is unique and none are the same. Other than that yes their are friendly staff just depends which Danny’s you go some well not so great waiters but overall there is good service service at times and the speed of the food is fast. I always like coming here even since I was a kiddo my parents would take me here so it brings back many good memories being here. So recommend it since a well family oriented restaurant.

I have delayed reviewing Danny’s because…..who hasn’t been there. With 14 locations, it’s like asking who hasn’t been to McDonalds. Not that the two restaurants should even be in the same sentence.
Now the only question is “which is your favorite location”?
Each has their own atmosphere and vibe, but you will not be disappointed no matter which one you go to. The service is too notch. There is never a shortage of wait staff at a Danny’s, and the staff must enjoy working there because I have not seen a disgruntled employee yet and I have been going to Danny’s since 2008 when I first rolled into town.
My go to was the Danny’s Big Breakfast which is a huge bang for your buck (see the photo). It comes with either French toast or pancakes. I recommend the French toast, you will love the thick homemade bread. Wow! Get the eggs scrambled with yellow cheese for an over the top meal.
We had stopped coming to Danny’s a few years ago after being weekly regulars because they had gone through some pricing issues as their prices soared. They have since adjusted them to a reasonable level and we are back. Great sturdy tables that are always clean and solid wood comfortable chairs with remodeled restaurants give Danny’s a warm inviting feel. Solid thick ceramic plates and coffee mugs complete the vibe of quality.
Oh yeah, and they have some of the best free chips and Salsa in Laredo. The salsa is a bit watery, but the flavor is top notch. Enjoy!

Great food and awesome service. The portions are perfect. I had the enchilada plate and they aren’t like other places that drown thw plate with cheese. The wait times are minimal. The enchiladas were stuffed with plenty of chicken and sauce as well.

Great option to have a wonderful breakfast. The pancakes are delicious as well as the red chilaquiles (these are a bit spicy but worth to try. However if you don’t eat spicy food at all then go for the green ones). They also have other good and healthy options such as the mushroom omelette which have tried in the past and liked it too. The coffee is good and it has refill. On weekends they have Menudo, although I haven’t tried it yet but looks very good. The service is great and they serve pretty fast. The prices are accesible.

Stopped here because my sick mom wanted breakfast tacos from here so they must be good. I went thru drive thru and I ordered and it took A long time to get order. I had thought they forgot about me and was about to drive off.
