Had a great date-night dinner here on a Friday after work. For tapas we had the bone marrow, and Spanish cured ham. For dinner we had the shrimp-mussels-fried chicken wing paella. All dishes were great! The flavor of the rice was fantastic, hard to not scarf it all down.
The cocktails elevated the meal even more. What a pleasant surprise to find this level of cocktail bar downtown Hillsboro.
Then we learned that upstairs is a small tiki bar! So instead of dessert, we headed up there to have another fresh and flavorful drink. It has clear panels they pull down so the place is nicely heated and comfortable.

The food was amazing! The atmosphere was upscale but casual and relaxed! The group had a very eclectic order for drinks and everybody seem to enjoy their beverages. Our waitress Tori was amazing! It was her birthday and she was there working and made us all feel very comfortable and attended to all our needs in a very prompt manner. It’s so nice when you get good customer service used to be something we expect now it’s addition to your evening. Can’t wait to come back and bring my daughter.

This is a gem of a restaurant serving high-quality Spanish tapas. The food is delicious, the wine list is well curated, and the staff is informative, friendly, and helpful. The space has a fun vibe and there’s also a rooftop deck if you want an outdoor dining experience. I can’t wait to go back.

Crazy. Exceeded all expectations. The service was great. Our server/bartender was super knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere is mid, but they make up for it and then some. The food… We were blown away. We had 7 different dishes and every single one exceeded expectations and even hopes. The broccolini, the big shrimp, the pork belly, and the desert that is like creme brulee with orange and cinnamon (I don’t remember the name and it’s not on the menu) were our favorites. The basque wine selection is solid and the cocktails were as impressive as the food. For drinks, the flower garden and the trailblazer were wildly good. This is exactly what downtown Hillsboro needed. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, it does not disappoint.

Food was delicious for the most part and prices aren’t too bad for a nice restaurant at that level. A great place for a date night. Wish there were a few more menu options and a couple things were plated differently, but that’s a small gripe. The Spanish martini is phenomenal.

Food was tasty, prices were higher end for some items. It’s good if you are sharing as a couple but when there are more people you get just a taste of each item ordered. It’s tapas style plates. Drinks were tasty and service was excellent. I believe the rooftop area is open now that the weather is nice.

AMA is a full experience, visually stunning and decadently crafted. The broccolini alone is worth the visit. The tapas-style format makes it perfect for sharing, allowing you to explore multiple dishes and turn dinner into something memorable.

Fantastic cocktails, well-executed tapas and entrees, bold flavors—this is a foodie paradise. We tried almost half the menu and everything was so good. Our favorite was probably the broccolini, but the pork belly, Iberico ham, bone marrow, and patatas bravas were all a close second. Every dish was well-balanced and thought-through. We will be back.

A nice casual place to snack on small plates. Tried multiple dishes and was impressed with quite a few. One thing odd was they only handed us the wine list and didn’t (even verbally) offer any coffee options or cocktails/mocktails/sparkling water; we had to specifically ask about those. Their coffee was really nice btw glad I asked.
