Choice of salsa with chips and queso infused with cumin was a great start. Then we jumped into the pork belly egg rolls … !!! They’re a must get. Dipping sauce is sweet and spicy. Exquisite. My mushroom and goat cheese quesadilla had the flavor I was looking for and I’ll order it again. My sister didn’t enjoy her soup/chili and without even asking, the server took it off our bill. She was easy-going and funny and helped make our visit delightful. I can’t believe I haven’t been eating here every time I come to the Duck area. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had fresh mahi-mahi and shrimp tacos for lunch here. Simple and delicious. Just some jicama slaw, fresh pico and a cilantro sauce. No need to make fresh seafood fancy. It’s done right here, and it speaks for itself. Several picnic tables out front so we could enjoy the great weather.

Absolutely love coming here for some great food. I’ve been coming here for many years and have never had a bad meal. The menu is always changing giving you knew options to try along with the drink menu. My go to is to start with homemade tortilla chips and dip and then chicken tacos. If you want dessert, my favorite is the sopapillas. Another suggestion to try is the soft shell crab tacos when they have them (they go fast). Love Bad Bean!

Updated: after years and years of eating at Bad Bean, it is still one of the most cozy, you-know-what-you-get, consistent local hangouts. This is my go-to for a good dam taco and a delicious margarita. Best pork belly tacos ever, and the margaritas are so amazingly delicious.. definitely one of the locals’ favorite places to get a good Mexican-influenced meal.
