This was our first time at Kamikoi. We came because of the good reviews and because we were craving this kind of fusion cuisine. We also wanted to try a place closer to home, since we usually go farther for this type of food.
We ordered the Kamikoi tostones as an appetizer, along with the Kamikoi roll and the steak fried rice, and everything was very good. The food was well prepared and flavorful. The place has a great atmosphere, and since it was a Friday night, they had live music, which was fun and entertaining. The service was good as well.
The only thing I really didn’t like was that they charge an extra 3.5% fee for card payments, whether it’s credit or debit. I paid with a debit card and was still charged this fee. This was not mentioned at the beginning, and it’s the first time this has ever happened to me at a restaurant. I honestly don’t think this should be done without clearly communicating it upfront.

This was very neat find! Definitely worth checking them out. I came in for the first time on a Saturday night with no reservations. It was not crazy busy when we arrived but as the night progressed it got really packed. Our sever was very attentive and kept coming to the table.
Food did take some time to Arrive but it wasn’t too bad.
Nice vibes and after Sish they had live music.
I had the mango tango which was yummy and I ordered 2.
For starters we had the crab tostones which were huge and delicious. We ate all of them and were mostly full when the food arrived.
For my main I had the charred octopus which was flavorful and tender.
Hubby had the special fried rice which was really good as well.
We also shared the kamikoi roll and I also enjoyed it.
We were stuffed so I took the little donuts to go.

We had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and the service exceptional. Our server was Rizo and she was great. I highly recommend the Happy Hour menu. The Dragon Roll was our favorite. The bao buns are new and are delicious. It was our first time coming and we will definitely be back!

This is one of those restaurants where you leave wanting to come back. I saw the place somewhere on the internet and decided to try it with a friend. The pace doesn’t disappoint . The kamikoi tostones and Krispy sushi are delicious . All dishes are very well presented, and Risos our server is very nice and attractive, the price is very reasonable, and they also have happy hour specials. . This is the second time we visit and they don’t disappoint. The food was excellent and our server was Josue. He was very attentive and checked in to make sure we were happy with our meal. We will definitely be back.
