Waffle House is a great spot. The staff was super friendly. We went 2/27/26 at around 1030am. Everyone working at this time was pleasant. The hash Browns (with the egg breakfast) were terrific. Crunchy and soft at the same time. The waffle was great also. I really love this spot.

Stopped by Waffle House recently and I’d give it a solid four-star experience. It’s one of those places you kind of know what to expect, but this visit actually stood out in a good way.
I ordered a waffle, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and bacon. Everything came out hot and cooked just right. The waffle was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, and the hash browns were exactly how they should be — a little crispy with good flavor. Nothing fancy, just really satisfying comfort food.
Service was friendly and quick. The staff kept things moving but still checked in and made sure everything was good. It had that classic Waffle House energy — a little busy, a little loud, but in a way that feels normal and kind of welcoming.
Only reason I’m not giving five stars is because it’s still a simple, no-frills breakfast spot. But for what it is, it does the job really well. I’d definitely come back, especially when I’m craving a solid late-night or weekend breakfast.

This Waffle House in downtown Summerville is a gem! The service is excellent, and the food quality is far better than other locations I’ve been to. The staff is friendly and attentive, but a special shoutout to the older white lady—she’s incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. She truly makes the experience even better! If you’re looking for a great place to grab food in Summerville, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Saturdays at any Waffle House can be really busy, but this location was packed. Lauren, the unit manager and her team were operating seamlessly. Ms.Eva made sure we were seated quickly and our table was clean. Nee Nee took our order and brought good, hot breakfast to our table. Great work!!

I don’t have much to say about Waffle House, this location recently had a remodel which is good but the food was anything interesting. The day I did go the waffles were undercooked so I had ended up eating my eggs and sausage while new waffles were being made. No fault of the staff, they provided great service as always.

Good people, good food I ordered the all star meal with country ham on the side. The food was good. I had to go back to get my meal made over because I didn’t get the meat with my order. The staff was very apologetic about the missing ham they offered me a waffle and a drink while I waited. This was a great example of going above and beyond for the customer.

Incompetent waitress with some generic name got us some mediocre coffee and completely ignored us for over 20 mins. People came in 10 mins after us and had food served due to them personally knowing them)with us still being ignored. Sure it is Xmas eve but this service was absolutely the worst in awhile. Needless to say we walked out.
