We stumbled on this place by accident but definitely glad we did! This is the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life across all the countries and restaurants I’ve visited. The concept of a weekly menu is amazing. From the starter which was a foam mushroom, we already knew it was gonna be an amazing dinner. Goes to show how creative the chef Makamoto-san was! Also huge props to Cristina and Emma for hosting us well and sharing their story for their restaurant! A great way to end a trip to Paris!

I am nearly speachless. The food is sooo delicious, so beautifully prepared and presented, and so beautifully served. The wait staff are warm and very knowledgeable about the menu, wine recommendations, etc. We stumbled upon the place for dinner one night and came back again two nights later!

As a guest dining alone, I give the highest praise—for both the service and the dishes. The staff were warm, welcoming, and patient, making me feel completely at ease. The head chef is a true master of balance: the foie gras appetizer was delicate and silky, melting instantly on the tongue, rich in aroma and full of flavor without any greasiness. The accompanying salad was fresh and refreshing, complementing the dish without overwhelming it.
The sirloin steak for the main course was tender and juicy, while the mushrooms, potatoes, and carefully crafted sauce added wonderful layers of flavor.
In addition, I would like to apologize for any possible breaches of table etiquette on my part. Although I did not mention this during my meal, I had hoped for a small plate or an extra napkin to ensure that my utensils would not touch the table at any time. Also, cutting the steak with a non-serrated knife was a bit difficult—especially since the plate was a bowl with some depth.

Outstanding in every respect. Starters, mains and desserts were fantastic. Service outstanding. In our group, we had scallops, beef and duck and every one was delicious. Staff was lovely—very friendly, attentive, and funny.

From the outside, the restaurant’s modest, slightly worn façade blends into the surrounding streetscape – if not for the small Maître Restaurateur plaque by the door, you might walk right past without suspecting the culinary excellence inside.

We each had the three-course set menu and were genuinely impressed. Every dish was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and exceptionally well-priced for a fine dining experience. The flavors were balanced and thoughtful, with a clear sense of care and pride in each plate.

Service was just as memorable. We were looked after by both Chef Smail and Cristina, the waitress, who shared equal parts in serving and explaining the food to us. It’s rare to have a chef so personally involved in the dining experience—both were incredibly attentive, warm, and made us feel genuinely welcomed.

L’Atelier du Ramey is an unassuming treasure with heart, hospitality, and truly excellent food.

It’s not an average restaurant, that’s a true gourmet restaurant with a very reasonable price, like a Michelin restaurant without breaking the bank. It was our best dinner in Paris! Everything is amazing in the restaurant- food, atmosphere, and very friendly and engaging waitresses. The combination of tastes was incredible – all dishes were perfect. Highly recommend!

Glad we had our lunch in L’Atelier Ramey in our last day in Paris. It was our best dining experience in this city of gastronomy. The staffs were super welcoming, and our three-course meals were perfect in every way.
The appetizer back pudding was amazingly good, the yummy texture and flavor is something must try. Another must try is the main course lamb, you can taste all different parts of lamb in just one dish! I could taste there was liver or something flavorful, and the lamb was super tender!
Finally the desserts were surprisingly good too! We ordered rice pudding and Mont-blanc, they all made very creative and freshly good. We ate them all and felt what a feast in this little restaurant!
Thank you, we will come back next time.

Such a beautiful restaurant with beautiful meals! Very well presented, packed with flavours, excellent portion. The sweet potato purée was so good, I still dream about it even now! The staffs were very friendly and welcoming even though they were about to close when we arrived. Thank you so much for the lovely meals and service! Def recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a good restaurant in Paris.

4.6 stars. We treated ourselves to a delicious meal at L’Atelier Ramey after a long day viewing Olympic events. What a great way to cap off a great day. We were treated to a green tea mousse followed by several starters. These included 50-day aged beef tartare, a cold watermelon soup, and a “perfect cooked” egg and Niçoise salad. All were memorably delicious. Our entrees included veal, lightly-grilled tuna, and a vegetable dish. Both of the protein entrees were served over the same vegetables that comprised the vegetable dish. Again, these rustic preparations were fantastic. For desserts we enjoyed an expertly prepared chocolate mousse and traditional tiramisu. On top of it all was the wonderful service we received. Dani made us feel welcome by expertly describing each menu item in perfect English. He was as unique as the eclectic atmosphere that surrounded him. You won’t regret dining here. We plan to tell our friends and return on our next trip.
